Roe vs Wade Overturned

Who would've guessed abortionists are not lawyers? At any rate, everyone understands now that Biden propagandized it to smear the court and the right, to inflame 'da' struggle'. It's a darned shame Joe can't outright Uyghurize dissenters for the common, united good.

Yet.
The D.C. gulag and terrorizing parents is hella' good progress, though.
How do figure that? LOL.

The right-wing jumped the gun on this story being a hoax, and now they have egg on their face. The story that Biden recounted of a 10 year old rape victim traveling from Ohio to Indiana to have an abortion performed turned out to be accurate ... and you are bummed out by that.

Boasting about a 10 year old being raped by an illegal immigrant being a real story to own the cons.
Yeah I definitely feel owned.

Has anybody asked the question about why this child was allowed to remain 'pregnant' for so long after a rape? Wouldn't medical attention have been sought, oh... I don't know.... IMMEDIATELY?

And has the father shot that ******* dead yet? I know if it were my child he wouldn't see the sun come up.

Uhhh, no ... pointing out how the cons were too quick to call this a hoax isn't boasting. It's what happened.
I don't think they were too quick. Folks tried to find a mention of it and didn't get it until yesterday. I didn't see alot of "hoax" talk until plenty of outlets reported their findings or lack thereof on the matter.

So far we also haven't seen proof that she wouldn't be able to get one in OH.

That doesn't explain what was going on with the Ohio Attorney General, Dave Yost. He told Jesse Watters of Fox News that he had searched for a trace of this case but found nothing. He clearly hadn't tried very hard if he didn't even bother to call the Columbus Police Department. They had this case since June 22nd. Wouldn't you start by checking law enforcement officials in your state's most heavily populated city? That doesn't make any sense. What a tool.

Per the Columbus Dispatch, the mother sought to have her daughter's abortion performed in Columbus, and they were turned away, and advised to leave the state. The mother contacted an attorney, who referred her to Dr. Caitlin Bernard in Indianapolis, who performed the abortion. It was Dr. Bernard who gave the story to the Indy Star... which raises some questions in itself.

I can't speak for him. He should be asked those questions. How far did he go in research, why didn't Columbus PD get asked, etc. But I wouldn't blame the folks that were skeptical given liberal sites couldn't get an answer on it until an arrest was made. The people contacted need to answer questions too.

That's just it though. There are a lot of odd things around this case. It offers the likelihood of being questioned. Why were they turned away? Did they misunderstand the law? Is it clear now? Did it even happen? What's the clinics response? Again, I don't blame anyone for doubting it. Now that we have a case, additional questions can be asked. The Dr that made this as a roe vs Wade thing may not be genuine in her motives.

You're not equipped for this.

Remarks by President Biden on Protecting Access to Reproductive Health Care Services | The White House

After an agitprop diatribe of multiple paragraphs characterizing the overturning judges as unconstitutional, political extremists, Biden turned his attention to this:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Biden...."And we can’t wait. Extreme Republican governors, extreme Republican state legislatures, and Republican extremists in the Congress overall — all of them have not only fought to take away the right — our rights — but they’re now determined to go as far as they can.

Now the most extreme Republican governors and state legislatures have taken the Court’s decision as a green light to impose some of the harshest and most restrictive laws seen in this country in a long time. These are the laws that not only put women’s lives at risk, these are the laws that will cost lives.

What we’re witnessing is a giant step backwards in much of our country. Already, the bans are in effect in 13 states. Twelve additional states are likely to ban choice in the next coming — in the coming weeks. And in a number of these states, the laws are so extreme they have raised the threat of criminal penalties for doctors and healthcare providers. They’re so extreme that many don’t allow for exceptions, even for rape or incest. Let me say that again: Some of the states don’t allow for exceptions for rape or incest.

This isn’t some imagined horror. It’s already happening. Just last week, it was reported that a 10-year-old girl was a rape victim in Ohio — 10 years old — and she was forced to have to travel out of the state, to Indiana, to seek to terminate the presnency [pregnancy] and maybe save her life. That’s — the last part is my judgment. Ten years old. Ten years old. Raped, six weeks pregnant. Already traumatized. Was forced to travel to another state. Imagine being that little girl. Just — I’m serious — just imagine being that little girl. Ten years old.

Does anyone believe that it’s the highest majority view that that should not be able to be dealt with, or in any other state in the nation? A 10-year-old girl should be forced to give birth to a rapist’s child? I can tell you what: I don’t. I can’t think of anything as much more extreme."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Again, Biden didn't simply "recount"; he propagandized it as a necessity for the girl to leave the state because it was prohibited by OH which had made no exceptions for the scenario. It's a lie.

I think we're done here. I'm bummed out that you're this ignorant or this deceitful.

I will say again, the mother of the 10 year old girl has told authorities that when she sought to have her daughter's abortion performed in a medical center in Columbus, Ohio, she was turned away and told they would need to leave the state. There are differing opinions concerning the current legality of abortion in Ohio ... and other states as well. I would wait and see how that aspect of this story plays out before making such snide comments.

... and are you this pompous and patronizing in every day life, or is this just internet message board schtick? It isn't funny. You come across as a pretentious bore.

I understand a member of the media being skeptical, but Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost is another story. He claimed that he had searched diligently for this 10 year old girl who traveled to Indiana for an abortion. There is simply no way that is true.

There are plausible explanations but that on the AG to answer to. I think he should face that question.

Imagine how bad things are on your political side of the isle when you feel vindicated that a 10 year old was indeed raped by an illegal immigrant.

This is worse than celebrating the Afghanistan pull out when they armed the Taliban and stranded US citizens.

Their wins are actually losses and they don’t even realize it.

You're repeating yourself. Bottom line is the mother and child did not have to go out of state. I'd also like to know how the girl is raped on at least two occasions, when did Mom know, and why she's six weeks pregnant before Mom makes a move.

Everyone, none more than you, should learn to hold their water. Some on the right expressed skepticism while others termed it a lie. That happens when an outlet single-sources, makes implication that is not true, and the source is the vested claimant. Literally no one could verify the story until yesterday when an arrest was made. If I'm Yost, I'm asking the DA and mayor why this was a covert investigation given that it's had more than a week news cycle.

There's a difference between erroneously thinking you must go out of state and state law forcing you to. People who don't waste crises turn rumor or half-truth into messaging campaigns, and that is what Biden did. That and the fact that "professional journalists" have not recanted or apologized for any of the scores of hoaxes they perpetuated for six years now, is what I took issue with.

I'll try to be more fun going forward.

I'm still giving Afghanistan the win, but yeah, this is a sorry thing to hang one's hat on.
But then, they're well aware of the sex and labor trafficking resulting from the national security dereliction of duty on the border. They're lawless, and simply don't care about the suffering.

Section 2919.12 - Ohio Revised Code | Ohio Laws

The way Ohio’s law is written, the “immediate threat of serious risk to the life or physical health of the pregnant woman” is an affirmative defense.

This means the provider of the abortion can still be arrested, indicted, possibly confined pre-trial (depending on the bail access situation in OH), and tried. It would then be up to a jury to determine whether the providers belief that the facts actually created an immediate threat is serious risk to the life or physical health” was proven.

I have to believe that everyone involved ( including the ones saying that her life was in danger) understands that the child wasn’t in danger of losing her life , and whoever advised her to go to Indianapolis was making an administrative decision.

The fact that she was able to travel to Indiana and get the abortion at all would seem to suggest that the affirmative defense would not have been successful, since the risk to her life does not seem to have been immediate.
