Bernard entered "17", which might lead one to think she was trying to cover something up, but that is how old the mother of the 10 year old said he was. At the time, Dr. Bernard had no way to know how old the guy really was. The mother has been defending him. He was her boyfriend, and she didn't want him charged with statutory rape, so she lied about his age.

How could it not? There is a lady I'm friends with, she's almost like another daughter to me. Her and her sister grew up in a family of drug abuse. They turned out to be incredible people.
But sexual abuse is another matter. The odds have to be against turning out with semblance of mental and emotional health.

All that the Attorney General of Ohio, Dave Yost, ever had to do, in order to confirm the existence of a pregnant, 10 year old rape victim in his state, was check the logs at the Columbus Police Department, which is just 6 blocks away from his own office.

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost could have simply reviewed Columbus Police Department logs to corroborate the 10-year-old rape story - Inter Reviewed

There is simply no way that Dave Yost made the effort to fact check this story, that he claimed to have made during this interview with Jesse Watters of Fox News. Dave Yost immediately jumped to the conclusion that the story had been fabricated by the liberal media, with no attempt what-so-ever made towards confirmation.

Dave Yost is dishonest, and perhaps even a little lazy. Any time in between the day the story ran in the Indy Star on July 1st, and the day of his interview with Jesse Watters on July 11th, Yost could have checked those logs and it would have taken him less than 30 minutes to do it. He could have even walked from his office to the Columbus Police Department and accomplished this. He obviously didn't care enough about it, to look into it at all.

Approximately 36 hours later, an arrest had been in the case by the Columbus Police Department, who contrary to what Jesse Watters of Fox News reported, had begun a criminal investigation into the rape of the pregnant 10 year old on June 22, 2022 (19 days earlier).

It would be tough to mishandle a story any worse than the mess Jesse Watters of Fox News has made of this. On Wednesday night, Watters speculated that Dr. Caitlin Bernard would be charged with a crime for failing to report the 10 year old girl's aborted pregnancy, which had obviously resulted from a rape. However, multiple reports, including one from The Washington Post, reveal that Dr. Bernard, had indeed, met all of her required reporting obligations, which Jesse Watters had failed to research himself, before speculating falsely on cable television.

I think it's safe to say that Jesse Watters won't be getting a Pulitzer for his work on this story. It's been brutal.

Which source would that be? No news source which employs Jesse Watters can accurately be described as having integrity, and very little which Jesse Watters has reported has ever proven to be accurate.

This is kind of funny, if you like watching narcissistic people squirm and make fools of themselves ... Jesse Watters of Fox News has now suggested that his own denial of the existence of a pregnant 10 year old rape victim in Ohio, served to keep the pressure up on law enforcement authorities to make an arrest of the fictitious girl's rapist.

Take note of the Fox News chyron which reads :

"We Kept The Pressure Up On This Story"

Yep, that's right! Fox News and Jesse Watters want credit for the arrest of the 10 year old girl's rapist, because two days before they had denied that she even existed. LOL!

Watters also, egotistically, claims that the timing of the arrest had everything to do with him - and his skepticism. As though the Columbus Police Department watches his show and takes their cues on when to arrest people directly from him. LOL!

If the stories I have heard (and as I said, I am not following this all that closely) are true, the mom is every bit as culpable/criminally negligent as the illegal scumbag that abused this child. I think using the word "family" might be a stretch in this case.
