Watters also, egotistically, claims that the timing of the arrest had everything to do with him - and his skepticism. As though the Columbus Police Department watches his show and takes their cues on when to arrest people directly from him. LOL!

If the doctor failed to report this child was raped, she should be held accountable. It's quite astonishing that the left is more concerned with the horror of having to cross state lines for an abortion, than the fact a 10 year old was raped and abused.

Whenever I see someone in a politics forum screeching that "this shouldn't be politicized," what I think they're saying is :

"This is damaging to my side of the political aisle, so I would rather not hear about it."

It’s a fair point BB

But let me ask you this.

Biden and Trump reference this tragedy (and it is a tragedy) in speeches leading up to 24 assuming they both run. Trump focuses on open borders, a refusal to take illegal immigration seriously etc as the genesis of this particular topic. Simply, had the rapist not been in the country, this wouldn’t have happened.

Biden chooses to focus on the cruelty of the abortion laws in place and leverages this tragedy to push for a Federal policy to protect pregnant people (the lefts term, not mine).

Are you fine with recognizing that both candidates are using this tragedy to push an agenda? Does it bother you at all?

I don't see this as damaging to either side. We have already agreed that this story has been peculiar, certain developments did lead up to it being highly suspicious up until a few days ago when an arrest was made. It could have been handled differently across the board tbh. We still have a million questions and, at this point, I see it more on the shoulders of the individuals than in a party or even a policy except that we'd like to see clarification on the abortion law in OH so they can either amend if they want or be aware that it does block the 10 year old from having it.

Sure, both candidates would try to score political points with it... but nobody ever really minds when it's their preferred candidate who is scoring those points. It's the kind of thing which only bothers you, when the other side is doing it. Is it tasteless? Yes, but that is the American political arena in the 21st Century ... no going back now.

I see it being damaging to a few individuals who have made fools of themselves this week - Ohio Attorney General, Dave Yost and the Fox News doofus, Jesse Watters - but outside of that, you are correct that these abortion laws are going to need clarity.

Dave Yost claimed that the 10 year old girl met the conditions for the medical exemption in Ohio, simply due to her age... but she was turned away from a clinic in Columbus, because the doctors who examined her didn't conclude that her pregnancy was a threat to her life, and understandably, they are going to err on the side of not performing the abortion, and sending the patient elsewhere.

Awesome man. My parents were special needs/trauma certified foster parents to 37 kids over 17 years. Usually 2 or 3 at a time. Both my little sisters were adopted by my parents after coming to our home as foster. 1 was born HIV positive and the other was born drug addicted...then at 2.5yrs old she came back from a parent visit with both legs broken. Femurs. Strongest bones in the human body. They are both mid to late twenties now and I adore them still ...as the overprotective big brother thats almost 20 years older.

Your heart has to be 100% in it to be a good foster parent. The net pay is very little after expenses etc...but it isnt about money for those who are " doing it right".

May God bless you and your family and keep all of you folks in the palm of his hand .
