Ray Lewis basically held the coats of the guys with the knives, drove them away from the scene of the crime, and did his damndest to obfuscate the police investigation. His lawyers chewed up and spat out an incompetent Atlanta DA. Those murders happened about 40 yards from where I usually park my car to go to my local pub; I followed the case keenly. The only sense in which Lewis "didn't do anything" is that he probably didn't actually stab somebody with a knife himself.

Obviously there's not enough actual evidence to convict Roethlisberger of rape in a court of law. It's a he said/she said situation; both parties agree there was sex; there was a lot of alcohol involved. No small town DA is going to beat Roethlisberger's lawyers in that kind of case. But there's certainly enough testimony that Roethlisberger had his stooges haul the drunkest girl in the group into a back room for him and then stand guard to keep her friends away to conclude that he is a Grade A arsehole. Any man who has women in his life that he cares about ought to have nothing but contempt for a POS who treats women like Roethlisberger apparently does. He's a s***stain.

I must agree.The first time I blew it off because I thought it was probably bogus,but now I believe he has a real problem. It will happen again if he doesn't stay out of nightclubs,or at least stay sober in them,and even then I'm not so sure.

If he were just being a drunken ass to women, then it would be one thing. He would just be a drunken ass. The way that he apparently has his "bodyguards" set up to troll PT for him suggests that he's on entirely differently level of creep.

bingo. i imagine in pittsburg women throw themselves at him on a regular basis. at some point you start to believe you are owed this (see tiger woods or kobe bryant).

or he just had affairs like oh so many celebrities. He wasn't dragging drunk girls into bathrooms and having his bodyguards keep watch at the door.

owed isn't the term I'd use (maybe believing they are entitled?), but I get your point and agree with it
