Roland Garros

Who's to say that will ever change. Stosur is a buffed gal, i have never seen anyone play with sunglasses on during a tennis match.

Natasha Zvereva used to, as well as (I think) Gigi Fernandez. It seems to me that at one point Chris Everett used to wear them in her matches. That was a long time ago, though, so I'm a little foggy on it.

OK, for tomorrow we have
Federer -vs- Del Potro and
Soderling -vs- Gonzales

Who do you guys have getting to the final? Mine are bolded, although if Soderlinv and Gonzales go 5 I'd take Soderling.

This is a tough call, i'm thinking Gonzales, but that Soderling has been playing well, he just might cruise on into the final. I pick the upset Del potro. I'll be home to watch those games tomorrow, sweet.

I don't get tennis channel here at work..

It's not on TC. TC is showing some classic match in black and white. NBC, in their infinite wisdom, are showing a tape delay of Soderling/Gonzo. They started it right at the time that Fed/Del Potro were really starting, which I suppose they will show after Soderling/Gonzo. Why not show the live match and then show the one that's already been played? :dunno:

Anyway, I'm gonna drop out for a bit because I don't want to know the score of Fed/Del Potro until they actually show it. Here's a feed if you can get it at work. I'm gonna wait til NBC shows the match because my connection stinks.
igtv11 on USTREAM: . All

Not sure if Soderling is going to have anything left for the final. He looks worn down.

Spoiler alert:

Roger struggled early, but he seems to be cruising into the fifth set.

I hope what few US tennis fans there are left understand the significance of Federer wiining. He can tie Sampras' record for career majors and do something Pete never did, win in Paris. It would be two key bullets on his resume for best of all time.
