Romney Voters

Please let me correct a moment of anger. You speak like someone with not a lot to lose right now. You are 27 with a vast majority of your earning years ahead of you. I am on the backside of that with very few years left. Right now, I can't afford to literally throw a vote away. I have to vote for someone that has a gnats chance to win and at least promises (they aren't lies yet) that he will do everything possible to either lower or keep my taxes where they are now and his ideas will spur business growth and energy independence. Barry's won't and don't and GJ can't be elected this time around. I hope that I see the day that we have an informed public and we can put a libertarian or an independent in office. Until then, I have to vote for the guy that I feel will hurt me the least.

If Barry is reelected, I honestly anticipate losing my home, my savings, and any hope of retirement.

You are correct - I can absorb a hit right now as I do have the majority of my earning years ahead of me - BUT - unlike those of you on the backside of your working years, I won't get a dime of the social security I will pay in over the next however many years and my generation will be saddled with the debt that YOUR generation has allowed to pile up.

No offense, I truly am empathetic to those who may lose their retirement (my father's took a big hit in 2008), but I'm not content with repeating your generation's mistakes. You say you hope to see the day that we have an informed public and an independent in office - it won't happen with people like you who are unwilling to vote for someone without a D or R in front of their name. You can go ahead and vote for the guy you feel will hurt you the least, but I will vote for the guy who will do the most for the country.

Again, I mean no offense, just stating that I feel there is a breakdown in your logic (You want to see a guy like GJ elected in your lifetime, but you won't vote for him...), and I am sick and tired of seeing the same selfish, moronic puppets making and enforcing the law of the land, while there are so many better, more qualified candidates spinning their wheels.

BTW, Go Vols, beat (or at least don't get killed by) the dawgs today! :peace2:
