i think things will be fine

these guys will get plenty of playing time against miami(Oh) in the swamp

You're probably right.

I can't see any of the Gators deuniting after some playing time against UM,O.

Regardless, Coach Meyer should try to rid of the exuniters to discourage any redisuniting.

Sounds like they need a circumcising, sobby, glorified fullback to provide some leadership.

Meh...I'll be discouraged if they aren't on the field for the season opener.

At this point, I would agree. They came back to practice and everything looks kosher from the outside again. But, their arrogance coupled with the childishness when they got pushed around a little bit is a bad sign. Simply my opinion.

I would not be suprised if Kiffin has something to do with this. He went after these kids all last year. Especially Powell once he got to USC. He probably has them on speed dial and we know he didn't send CUM flowers after his heart attack when he lost the SECCG.

so you think the HC of a team who just got hammered by the NCAA is going to break more major rules by tampering with UF players?

Do you think that would be a surprise for Kiffin. A coach that is already under scrutiny from a program he just left for his recruiting practices going to a new program that is in trouble and yet seems not to keep his mouth shut. The same coach that just accused CUM and UF , among other schools, for trying to get his player D Baxter to transfer. He went as far as to report it officially to their league office. Now since USC apologized to UF and other schools but not Kiffin.

Yes I could see Kiffin doing this.

I also remember CLK and CEO calling UT players that were already on campus and telling them not to go to class.

completely different situation but that's ok. Also please point out major violations Kiffin has committed since you seem to imply this is a habit of his

I am not bitter because Kiffin has never done anything to me or bothered me. I just see him for what he is and nothing more.

I doubt even Kiffin is stupid enough to contact another school's player, leaving a paper trail of said call, during the season.

Pat Haden is looking for a reason to chop off Kiffin's head as it is.

Your right nothing yet, just specualtion. I guess no different than John Calipari who just happens to get out the door right at the right time. And I guess we will never know what his involvement was in the Bush saga at USC since he was there during all that.

I also understand anything involving him and the rumors about things he did at UT are just that right now and no more. But I will say this as a UA fan I hope that they are just that, because I hate to see any school in trouble including UT.

My only wish in cases like this where it appears to be more of the practices of the coach and not the school, that the NCAA would go after the coach.

I believe much of this to be true, the NCAA is tracking his past moves like a bloodhound. I don't think Haden would tolerate any other questionable practices given their current predicament, Kiffin is most likely on a very short leash right now as far as he's concerned.

But then again kiffin doesn't ever expect to get caught. I could see what tide is saying to be possible. Is he stupid enough? Yes. Is he doing it? Probably not.

I assume you are referring to one of the most accomplished college quarterbacks in college football history who has proven to be a quality human being on and off the field.

Fortunately for Gator opponents, college kids do graduate and/or move on after four years.

The misrepresentations, bitterness, and envy are understandable.

If you are any team other than UF in the SEC East, you have to pray and hope with everything you have that this means something negative for the Gators.

It is negative, no way to paint it any other way. i don't think it will turn out to be a huge deal, you have to expect some degree of immaturity from young players. The cocky attitude can be both good and bad. One one hand they are confident, on the other they have no real reason to be talking about dream team scenarios at this point.

Just let things shake out as they will and back up the play on the field, let the pundits make the dream team comparisons after you've earned it.

Got it.

No, it is not good at this point, it is one thing to be confident, another to act out as reported. I read through my post again and I didn't make that clear, sorry for the confusion.

Actually unfortnate for UA fans, because we know once the talent was on our side of the field Tebow could not produce against it. And no not bitterness or envy, I actually wish since they consider Tebow so great they would grant him another year or two. Since we play UF over the next years in regular season it would make the game easier for us if he was in it.
