Ronald Powell and Dominique Easley threaten to transfer from Florida

I assume you are referring to one of the most accomplished college quarterbacks in college football history who has proven to be a quality human being on and off the field.

Fortunately for Gator opponents, college kids do graduate and/or move on after four years.

The misrepresentations, bitterness, and envy are understandable.

Never implied he wasn't accomplished. Just poking fun at his over-the-top antics and propensity for shedding tears on national television.

Actually unfortnate for UA fans, because we know once the talent was on our side of the field Tebow could not produce against it. And no not bitterness or envy, I actually wish since they consider Tebow so great they would grant him another year or two. Since we play UF over the next years in regular season it would make the game easier for us if he was in it.

I bet bama could beat the Saints, Colts, Vikings and Patriots too.

Unfortnately for ua...the Gators have improved their team by sending Tebow and SEVERAL others to the NFL.

Fortnately for ua, the 5 point talent bonus will be ua's again(even better than the 4 point recruiting bonus that ut earned last year). When do they put those points on the scoreboard ? I am always distracted by the actual play on the field.

Understood.

Honest emotion, passion, and dedication should ALWAYS be ridiculed.

Who wants a kid like that ?

Lets to get to the facts.

Fact 1-UF beat UA in the 2008 SECCG, a UA team that was less than a year from finishing a 7-6 season.

Fact 2-UA and CNS just continued on to rebuild our program.

Fact 3-UA beat UF in the 2009 SECCG

Fact 4-CUM, instead of embracing it and rebuild the team he had a heart attack and retired, oh and came back out of retirement. Sorry had to throw that in there.:)

Fact 5-we are still rebuilding at UA, just because we won a NC does not mean we are where we want to be.

Fact 6-is UF was years ahead of recruiting and bringing top talent before CNS got to UA and guess what it only took CNS 2 years to knock off UF.

Now in 2 months I could be eating my words if UF comes into UA and wins but I like our chances right now.:dance2:

I like Bama's chances against UF as well, Every video I see of Meyer at practice he appears super stressed out and uneasy...Something is really bothering him and all the bandwagon UF fans had better hope it doesn't spill over to the football field or it could be a miserable season in gainesville.

our offense was predictable as hell last yr i give bama zero credit for stopping it all you had to do was stop hernandez and cooper in the pass game and not let tebow run

only let our RB's get 3 carries very unbalanced and sloppy game on our part and losing dunlap didnt help

if we still had percy it would of been alot closer beleive that or even murphy we didnt have many WR's getting play last yr but we got a new position coach so hopefully that changes

of course not, you get beat but blame it on a perfect storm instead of admitting you got outplayed and outcoached.

BTW GMac broke ribs in that game and still played outstanding. If we still had A Smith would have probably rushed for over 500 yards on the UF defense. You can make excuses all you want. The fact is even without your credit we won the game.

Predictable, was is not obvious the first 12 games we played what we did 3 out of 4 plays. We run the ball down the middle. See being predictable is not a bad thing when you got the talent to do it.

IMO, the Gators were thoroughly unprepared, outplayed and outcoached.

However, the ua version of facts says the talent of ua made the outcome inevitable and bama should be competing for the Super Bowl this year.

Fact 1-UF beat UA in the 2008 SECCG, a UA team that was less than a year from finishing a 7-6 season and not long after widespread cheating. Sorry had to throw that in there.

Fact 2-UA and CNS just continued on to rebuild our program after years of on the field embarrasment and widespread cheating. Sorry had to throw that in there..

Fact 3-UA beat UF in the 2009 SECCG

Fact 4-CUM, instead of embracing it and rebuild the team he had a heart attack(classy touch without any facts ) and retired, oh and came back out of retirement. Sorry had to throw that in there.:)

Fact 5-we are still rebuilding at UA, just because we won a NC does not mean we are where we want to be(Super Bowl ?).

Fact 6-is UF was years ahead of recruiting and bringing top talent before CNS got to UA and guess what it only took CNS 2 years to knock off UF(nice blinders you have there).

Now in 2 months I could be eating my words(but you'll be a blowhard anyway) if UF comes into UA and wins but I like our chances right now.:dance2:

Fact- You don't know what a fact is because fact 2,4,5 and 6 are opinions and not facts.

So...fact 1- you might be a blind homer.

Good luck in the Super Bowl this year. I am assuming that is where you want to be.

Will ua be competing as an AFC or NFC team ?

Namath would have had 500 yards passing, too. He was predictable was is not obvious, too.

Being a blind blowhard is not a bad thing when you have no clue and a free, anonymous message board.

Blind blowhard expect nothing else from a gator fan.

Your little fantasy world has been shattered so now you make excuses. The same excuses that UF are making in regards to FSU taking top recruits in the state from UF.

I can go pull up all the recrtuiting classes coming into last year and UF had the advantage.

No clue, we won the game what more is there and what if you knew who I was are you going to send some of the convicts on your team to come find me. A little childesh there do you not think.

Remember we are talking about college not NFL. I know it makes you feel better to blow it out of proportion. And what happened before Saban or anything in the past really has no merit whatsoever. The only fact that is important is we beat UF last year.

No competing for the SECC again. I know your version is better.

Gators seem a little on the edge nowadays that the better days for them might be in the past.

Now before you say something like UA fans seem a little cocky, the only reason I am posting in this thread is in response to gators coming on a UT board and trying to rub in how good you think UF is. Because what I was reading was how high and mighty UF is but I do not see you on a UA board talking your trash. And you do not see me on rival boards talking it either about their team.

What difference does it really make?

I would say the talent was pretty even between the 2 on paper. Looks like to me it come down to Bama have a better coaching staff, if thats the case.

I dont follow NFL so did not know that.

BTW I do think Brantley will be very good for UF.

Brantley will make their offense much more balanced and harder to predict. I actually believe the team will be better with him under center.

Agreed, the weapons are there, now the question is left up to the staff if they will use them. They have got a QB that can, so it will be interesting how much freedom he gets.

You are the one in the UA fantasy world. Tebow was 1-1 versus Bama. Yes you smacked us around pretty good but invincible you are not. It took 2 blocked field goals to beat an inferior UT team at home and Colt McCoy gets knocked out early in the NC game. Having a freshman come into that setting definitely favors you all on that stage. Also the rivalry game with Auburn was all but theirs if they could have produced points on the other side of the field. Also last time I checked, Urban has 2 NC at UF and Saban has 1 at Bama. LSU doesn't count. It should be another great game this year and hopefully we will get a rematch in the SECCG but to think you all should just be given the tropjy is ludicrous. Have fun with the repeat target on your back like we had last year. :birgits_giggle:

Simmer down.

No excuses about recruiting or anything else. ua was better that day. You should be proud of the team that you play for. What position do you play ?

I'll mark you down as one for the history/previous titles/ Bryant means nothing category.

I'd like to see your recruiting class reports and the reasoning behind which players are better. That would be a tremendous waste of everyone's time so please hurry.

As for the NFL, you had posted that in spite of an undefeated season and a NC, coach saban and the team were "not where they want to be". I assumed that meant the Super Bowl. My mistake. What did you mean ?
