Will people stop saying this. Its really annoying! It's also a very selfish mentality! You don't just waste someone's eligibility based off what you can personally get out of them. You do right by the kid. You put them in the best opportunity to succeed longterm.

So, next year, Nico, Merklinger, and a...transfer QB? Do we think they bring one in? Gaston Moore isn't an actual option.

It just sucks that the games he has played in, he didn’t even get significant minutes in them. The Austin Peay crap show cost him a big opportunity, and I understand letting the 3rd and 4th string QBs play some in the UConn game, since that was their only opportunity this season.

We can’t know because he hasn’t played. Joe being good against our defense would explain his start though. We stuck on d. Joes not a gamer and never will be. Nico is a gamer we hope but will never know until we see him have multiple games being the guy. Joe has years of showing us he isn’t a gamer

I’ve seen enough out of Nico’s very few minutes this year to tell me we’re gonna be MUCH better at the QB position next year. The kid is gonna light it up.

Alot of people aren't realizing we could have a brand new starting 5 at OL next year...that never goes well in this league.

This flies in the face of what CJH said early in the season. So what is it, Coach? He’s ready but needs a redshirt or he’s not ready and needs more conditioning? What about the other QB’s on the roster when your #1 is clearly not getting it done and hurting you more than helping your team?

I’m not so sure about the OL. The transfer portal has a good chance to be our saving grace. Offseasons aren’t nearly as stressful now since we don’t only have to worry about recruiting classes.
