The fact that nothing other than some dude that lives in his moms basement who says a friend told him that Bruce is resigning is hogwash.

I like the optimism hiring a new coach brings... i just wish UT wasn't in this situation.

I hope everyone enjoys the brief period of optimism, because if Pearl resigns or is canned over this, we're hiring a squeaky clean guy who will remain far far way from even the gray areas of recruiting, i.e. a total loser. Students will choose the Tommy Bowl on game days as the ideal study spot on campus rather than the library or some other quiet location.

Put it this way I am just a fan who believed the rumors last time and felt sick at thought of losing Bruce and turns out was false anyhow. i am not believing anything till it happens. Heck i even got urinated off when hyams reported Cutcliffe had agreed to be our coach and it turned out to be false too.

I like Dooley and am not sure what to expect.

I wouldn't be surprised if he turns the program around.

I also wouldn't be surprised if he tanks.

Let's not kid ourselves though. He was far from the first choice and he only got the job because the first 10 guys on the list didn't want to leave at the last second.
