They're one injury away from being a 6-10 team. You're right in that they drafted Manning, but one pick doesn't mean you're "light years" ahead.

Winning the division every single year, winning two AFC championships, winning a Super Bowl, and owning the Titans says they are.

First time ive heard anyone feel that strongly about Fisher. You my friend are definately in the minority with that opinion.

I'm actually not really a Fisher fan. But, I can see the talent he's had over the years, and he's had very few "great" teams.

If the Titans ever get rid of Jeff Fisher, he would have his pick of jobs.

Personally, I like Jeff, but I completely get the arguments most of you make. We definitely aren't a top-tier franchise by any means. 1 AFC Championship doesn't make you top-tier.

It will be quite interesting if Jeff were to be let go.

Don't get me wrong. I do like Jeff Fisher. I guess I've just been a fan so long that I'm ready for a change. Adding to the list of NFL coaches that won championships and were fired, our very own Phil Fulmer was fired. All of these championship coaches were fired and yet Jeff Fisher for some reason seems to always get a pass.

Why are we talking about Jeff Fisher? I didn't bother to read pages 2 through 23?

Is Fisher a candidate to take the job when Bruce resigns tomorrow?

He absolutely gets a pass, and especially from the Nashville media. He definitely blew his chance when we had Baltimore at home for the playoffs.

Probably not. I like them because of Peyton like I said before. That still doesn't change the fact that the Titans are a second-rate franchise and suck.

What do u think the Colts were before and will be after Peyton?

They were better than the Titans before Peyton, and they'll be better than the Titans after Peyton. I seem to recall that they won a Super Bowl prior to Peyton's arrival.

Well, if Pearl does resign, I know one man looking for a job:

I really couldn't care less what you think about it. The guy asked me. I answered.

That's cool. The Reds are about to get knocked out of the playoffs. You have your pick of the Phillies and Yankees though.

They won a Super Bowl before Peyton. How many do the Oilers have?

BTW, a guy has a thread on TOS on Pearl resigning asking for Hubbs and Brice to comment on it. I'll keep you guys updated.

We need to chip in and get Hubbs a beeper for situations such as these.
