RUMOR- Bruce Pearl Resigning (Quashed)

Lots of people are saying it. No one seems to know anything. People have repeatedly asked Hubbs and Brice on TOS to comment if they have heard anything. They continue to say absolutely nothing. So, it's hard to say if it's BS or not.

Why would they not say anything if they knew?

Or you would have to recognize that UT was a sleeping giant just waiting for a semi-competent coach to come along and make it competitive. Large active fan base, major conference, has historic and worthy rivals, has facilities, just insert good coach.

Pearl was great right up until he risked getting the program burnt to the ground by the NCAA. If Pearl is Tennessee Basketball, then we're screwed anyway.

Luckily, no one is bigger than the program itself.

This rumor surfaces every week as does the Hamilton resignation rumor. I don't have any substance to the rumor at this point.

Obviously we are checking on things, but I haven't found anything to it.

We do think that there's probably going to be some more stuff come out regarding the program and the NCAA.
