That's cool. The Reds are about to get knocked out of the playoffs. You have your pick of the Phillies and Yankees though.

The Reds are my team and always will be. I really have no real diehard allegiances in the NFL; therefore, I root for the Colts because of Peyton.

Some of the posters on TOS seem to be concerned because apparently Brice and Hubbs have been asked multiple times to comment on this one way or the other, and they have said exactly nothing.

They won a Super Bowl before Peyton. How many do the Oilers have?

BTW, a guy has a thread on TOS on Pearl resigning asking for Hubbs and Brice to comment on it. I'll keep you guys updated.

If you subtract the Peyton Manning era, I'd take the Houston Oilers history over the Baltimore Colts any day of the week. Yeah, they won a championship but aside from that, they were pretty awful. They were successful in the first 5 years of the NFL's existence. They were around a decade before the Oilers.

well, it is almost midnight on a Sunday, I am hoping that that is the reason. Do they normally get on the board late? (not being a smart ass)

About to? You living in a parallel universe?

Ah. You're right. I didn't follow the games tonight.

In fact, I haven't watched any of the MLB playoffs. Probably won't until the install a salary cap or expand the playoff field. Watching 162 games to watch a field of 8 seems rather pointless. Especially when it's usually one of the highest payrolls that win. Pass.

I'm a pretty big Titan fan, but that's a reach, to say the least.

That's what worries me. Damn, I don't want to lose Bruce.

A year ago, if you would have told me that in a year's time, Kiffin and Pearl would be gone, but Hamilton and Raleigh would still be here, I probably would have shot myself.

I understand that. I just feel like you should continue cheering for them after. Doesn't affect me and it's your choice. I guess I just chose an allegiance and stuck with it. That's why I cheer for horrible teams these days. Reggie Miller, Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio etc. are all gone. I still cheer for the same teams regardless.

Ok enough Titans vs Colts. Back to Bruce. Hope to God it's not true

Not really. It was one AFC championship in 15 years.

He is the longest tenured coach because he is in Bud Adam's back pocket. They are bff's.

Even Mike Shanahan was fired. As was Jon Gruden and Brian Billick.

Jeff Fisher still has a job for one reason and one reason only. It's not because he is taking the Titans to the promise land. It's because he is Bud Adam's wingman. He is freaking Goose.

Wrong. The Glazers would never get rid of Jon. What have you been smoking?

Or....perhaps they don't have a clue and don't want to be wrong.

Still nothing from Hubbs or Brice. Posters are now talking about how wide spread the rumor is, and they're starting the "where there's smoke, there's fire" stuff.

Like the UGA players busted for dealing last week?

Wrong about what? These are people that admittedly don't know. That's why they're asking Hubbs and Brice. They just said that usually when it's bad news, Brice and Hubbs don't respond when they're directly asked.

I was saying maybe Hubbs and Brice don't know anything and don't want to guess and then be wrong. I'm not trying to pretend I do but there are many ways of looking at every situation.
