Post #800 in this thread is I. Amazing it lasted this long. Truly one of the greatest meltdown threads in Volnation history. Many people devoted hours of their lives to a fart in the desert...

I said the posters there said that Hubbs and Brice usually don't respond to questions when it's bad news. I then said I don't have any way of knowing whether that's true or not. If you don't want people mentioning what's being said on VolQuest, you ought to just say so instead of putting words in my mouth and accusing me of saying things that I didn't. I was passing along information. Nothing more.

There definitely were posts suggesting it "could" mean something that those two weren't commenting.

Yes, I absolutely said that posters on VQ said that them not commenting on the issue could mean something. I admittedly did not come up with that because I didn't know if it meant anything and said so despite what the mod wants to pretend.

If you took a poll of all the posters that were in a frenzy last night when you posted that about TOS, do you think more than half would agree you had no intention of implying the collective silence of the Volquest crew meant something bad was going to happen? Answer this honestly.

I'd proffer that 98% would say you did have that intention. The 2% being Heebs, SGM, and you.

I didn't have the intention of implying anything. I didn't know what their silence meant. I was just posting on here what was being discussed at that time on the thread. Obviously, that is frowned upon here.

But I thought that you had a reliable source??? What a bunch of garbage!!! I guess the source has no idea of what is going on at UT.

I propose that when any individual on this board starts a thread about some rumor they heard from "someone in the UT athletic department" and the rumor proves to be wrong, the individual should have their posting priv. revoked for one week. The more bogus rumors, the longer the suspension!

I heard a rumor that Pearl was going to resign next Monday, because apperantly a couple of players were getting paid.. Not sure if you have heard it too... :birgits_giggle:

That is why they say it is a rumor... He never said it was fact.. I think he even as far as to say "It could be wrong"... :spank:

OK . . . so the rumor proved to be bogus. Between putting RUMOR in the thread title and the bolded portion of the above post, what else could the guy have done to possibly couch the entire thread any further to indicate that he knew what he was posting might be shaky?
