And we know that type of success will last forever. How? Because gators have been here since Kiffin arrived telling us.

I wonder how 2Bits enjoyed Pasadena.

As mentioned previously, generalizations about rival fans' opinions can be incorrect.

Many Gators relish the successful times and realize their cyclical nature.

you think Urban is telling recruits that's even a possibility? If you do....

I don't know what he's telling recruits. Only the parties involved do. I doubt he's telling them that.

Doesn't change the fact that a LOA could lead to him leaving coaching. Shouldn't be surprising to ANYONE.

You can bet Meyer left Elam no doubt.

Multiple NCs in football and basketball. Proven success with two football head coaches. One being SOS. Previous experience of working with both rehires.

Successful experience. I completely trust his judgement and he's a heavily involved AD when he feels it's necessary.

Yeah, saying a team like Tennessee wasn't trying to win was just the ultimate act of respect. I hope Lane continues to treat Urban like the ***** he is.

I have no doubt that he will. I hope Coach Meyer returns and continues to treat him the same way on the field(have his team score more points). I hate the verbal junk.

My guess is Foley had a lot to do with rehiring both Drayton and Edwards.

Why would UM allow that, if he was coming back in August?

If I knew I was going to be the HC, in that situation, the hire would be mine.(especially if Drayton was one of them)

Why is there always a few people who call names? I don't get it. It's like they have no comeback of their own so they go straight to what has always worked. Name Calling.

Do Florida fans really not have anything better to do then be on a Vol message board?

I hope Meyer fully recovers so that he'll be on the sidelines when the Vols start to kick Gators all over the field. Nothing shuts up a troll like a good ass kickin...

Disclaimer: this is a RUMOR that I heard today. Just wondering if anybody else has heard it or can confirm it.

A good friend of mine, who happens to be a Gator fan, said he talked with a guy that he knows that is a big time Bull Gator (high level donor) that knows the Meyer family pretty well. He said the Bull Gator told him that Meyer had two minor heart attacks this year...one after the TN game and one after the SEC/BAMA game.

My buddy said it is doubtful that he will return this year, but hopefully next year and that the reason he told the recruits he would be back this year was to keep the class intact (I know the Volnation already knows this part, just funny to hear a Gator admit it).

I know there were some rumors flying around about a mild heart attack when he said he was quitting, but they were mostly dispelled.

a friend, who knows a guy, that knows a bull gator, that knows the Meyer family ,,,,, :clapping: bring on more of this great stuff ,,,,

By the way, the Bama NC trophy is at Wal Mart in Tuscaloosa,,, you should go there for some news on Saban.

His legend would be greater than the Bear's if he keels over dead on the sideline sometime.

Maybe it really is the time for the guy to hang it up. There are people out there with serious heart conditions at a young age, who have to watch their stress and excitement levels. Sad story if this is all true.
