ever notice most of the rumors stem from a rival site? That'll get you banned on the gatorcountry boards.

as was I..but without the kindergarden name calling

Well most kindergartners can spell kindergarten. You even had spell check to help you out. Embarrassing.

Don't be surprised when you have to pay your own way to go to the University of Florida.

Uh, do you seriously expect a UF-loyal source to be the bearer of embarrassing news? Get real. If there's any truth to this, we'll know it soon enough. After seeing how ESPN handled the Tiger Woods story, I'm thinking CUM will be fair game if one of their reporters can get confirmation.

a friend, who knows a guy, that knows a bull gator, that knows the Meyer family ,,,,, :clapping: bring on more of this great stuff ,,,,

By the way, the Bama NC trophy is at Wal Mart in Tuscaloosa,,, you should go there for some news on Saban.

Maybe you can give me a better way to describe it...

What would you do if a good friend of yours walked up to you at church and said "I was talking to a buddy of mine that is a big time Gator contributor and actually knows the Meyer's and he told me Meyer had two minor heart attacks."?

It is still hearsay, but the last time I checked hearsay, rumor and innuendo are all admissible on internet message boards...or we would all be bored to death between now and September.

Now if the rumor said he had had to have outpatient angioplasties as a result of two minor heart attacks - usually caused by blockages - this would have been trackable and it would be no rumor, gator nation would be on fire.

I see your point,, we have to do something until NSD! I give you heck, you give me heck back,, no problems

sure are alot of internet rumors popping up about Coach Meyer all of he sudden. this could make for an interesting week if there's any legs to what I'm reading.

You wonder if these rumors are a last ditch effort by rivals to try and sabotage a stacked recruiting class.

Good luck with that.

Wouldn't surprise me if he had had 2 minor heart attacks and that forced him to resign. I felt something major had to happen for him to step down in addition to his other health problem, which he has known about for some time.

How does this rumor do anything but help? Makes Meyer out to be morally bankrupt, which the recruits already knew. It does, however, lend more credence to his story about coming back.

That would make our entire #1 recruiting class morally bankrupt...or easily the most gullible group of high school students on the planet.

Hey it's funny they've gotten this many guys to buy in to that right now. I mean anyone from the outside looking in has to think twice or at least give it some more thought. It's a weird situation down there in Gator country right now. Strange deal.

No it doesn't. It just means there's a plausible explanation for the bullshiz dance the clown has done for the past month. Means that once swept under the rug, Meyer will be back to whining on the sidelines and making plaques for 3rd grade level speeches.

Who's making excuses, besides you?

Um, you guys are.

Clearly the only reason UF outrecruited you guys is because Meyer is lying about something....anything....everything.

The fact that he called recruits to tell them he expects to be on the sidelines coaching, well clearly he's lying.

There's really no other explanation.

That's just senseless. You've been on here blaming anyone but Meyer for this soap opera. We damn well know why it still works.

Remind me what excuses we've made.

There's no denying that UF has a nice class on paper. I've seen too many highly rated classes flame out at UTK to assume that high ratings equal on the field success. Also, at some point, the prima donna factor is going to kick in and it will fracture the program. These kids are not going to ride the pine or redshirt and the upperclassmen are not going to give up their touches. Something's gotta give.

We used to say the same thing about FSU's classes in the 90s. How in the world can you convince a 5-star recruit to sit the bench behind a 4th year RS junior for two years?

I don't know the answer to that question, but I'll take the class we've got on paper.
