I've read that Pruitt is the only coach in the SEC without a mitigation clause in his buyout.Again, Will Muschamp is not signing a contract at UT without a buyout. He will sign a completely new contract with UT and South Carolina holds no bearing on that. To your other point, much like Pruitt I don't believe Muschamps buyout is mitigated by new employment. Pruitt is owed 60% of his salary regardless of a new job at another school, I'm pretty sure Muschamps contract is similar and is not offset by a new salary.
