Ambles looked better today than Prater and I am excited to have him but Prater also brought some baggage with him to the game. The running back for his team (can't remember his name) said he (Prater) would be the #1 pick in 3 years.

I taped the game and haven't watched it all yet, but what I saw looked like the Jr. Gators on parade. Sure hope something falls apart in Gainesville before NSD.

If you and others believe this, don't you think that it is risky to possibly take a player that has an emotional breakdown on the field? Three to four years is a long time to not have anything happen in one's life.

Disagree...I mean are you guessing his parent will die?

He was supposed to be enrolling in school on Monday, and now his father figure, the man he was trusting with 4 years of his life and all the future money he hopes to make, quit the team on Saturday? That is a lot to deal with.

I agree somewhat, but come on. There are many stories you and I have heard about many great athletes. Let your emotions lift you up in the down times on the field. Example: First game after Brett Favre's dad died, he had one of the greatest games of his career. Many young athletes go through much more than what he is going through.

I think he was distracted somewhat and hadnt had enough time to digest what happened. No, I take that player every time. Thats the type of kid that ends up buying in to his coach and his team because he cares about football. It is important to him and obviously he put a lot into his college choice and then was blindsided one day before this game and probably had 1,000,000+ recruiters in his ear confusing him even more. JMO.

Also, was not guessing that his parents will die. Life is what it is and it is unpredictable. You have to learn that's what life is all about and just go with it and make the best decisions you can under the circumstances. That is all I am saying.

on espn the nfl players who are on there said if carrol goes to seahawks ,they said he wouldnt take his staff because their collage coaches,but if we get players from usc or wherever , i hope we land chaz green ot,johm cullen ot ,t wilson og ,jones olb.shirley olb,and cory lemionair. prater wr,dt uko talk him away from usc and stone tell him he will play ot then switct him to dt and a 4 star tb we only want 4 star or 5 ,even with urbie takin a two year break recruits all piled up.they tooh shariff floyed from ohio state anf took ronald powell from usc where he was going until carrol left to go to seattle because he know that usc will be put on probation over the reggie bush deal which was a long time coming and the joe mcnight deal,i think if we can upgrade a few spots like ol pair weighs 355 will have to red shirt drop him get arie kouejdouan he is 6,7,326 and next year his brother is even bigger.
