1. Hampton didn't have an offer from Tennessee.

2. EVERYONE knew Wright was going to USC no matter what.

So undesirable in fact that we are ranked in the top 10 by most major recruiting services . We should be ranked #1 by all major recruiting services and we should have our pick of the recruits that USC , Florida, Louisiana , Alabama , and Texas all seem to get ....especially given our last two ground shaking seasons . It really can't be that hard to show these kids the value of swimming in the Tennessee river as opposed to the Gulf of Mexico .

All sarcasim aside...I am pleased with the job they are doing recuiting . I think there will be some positive suprises leading up to signing day just like last season ...and bet they fill in all 28 spots. Can't wait to see these guys on the field for the next few years.

Where does Lache go? I cant see him going to USC... Baxter looked good and DJ Morgan is very talented also.. There is no way i can see all 3 of them there..

wow...you are literally too stupid to insult. Im pretty sure I saw Quarles and Jac Smith sitting next to each other several times in the game.

Good grief! Did anyone else notice how many of the kids that announced had TN hats on the table? Even though we didnt get them all, at least we are in the conversation more often than not these days!!!

True, but all of his top schools already have big RB commits. I can't see him going to USC.

It wouldn't be the first time USC loaded up their backfield, but with Carroll leaving, I don't see that trend continuing with Baxter going to USC.

I was not impressed with Lache. He might be a good scat back but in the SEC if you can not run between the tackles you might as well be a WR.

Baxter coming here would be awesome but highly unlikely. UCLA or Cal would be most likely IMO. They said he is a surfer and you cannot surf here. East coast FL has no waves either although Meyer might say they are there LQTM.

No need to call him names, he's just upset because we didn't get our hats picked up today - and that's okay. Maybe he's new to recruiting and doesn't know the dramatic twists and mind changesr yet... all is not lost and there's no need to berate him.

One thing he said is true, and don't get me wrong - I live and breathe Tennessee football - but Knoxville isn't as desirable as a lot of us regard it as. And that isn't necessarily a horrible thing. It just means we have to work harder for our recruits.

Lache looks like a playmaker, but maybe not every down back. He's clearly fast as lightning and dangerous with the ball in his hands.
