My parents listened to him every day. My Mom would tape his show and subject me to it while driving me around for baseball tournaments. I learned a lot, both good and bad, and like you, I moved on*. I'll forever be grateful to him for introducing me to Walter Williams.

*Honestly, I don't think anybody should have any one person in their head like that for very long.

Dr Williams was my favorite of his guest hosts. I'm also grateful for that introduction. Thanks for the reminder, huff.

I watched his TV show that came on back in the early 1990s. I never listened to him when he was on radio. Pretty much the same format as the TV show..

I figured he was near the end based on some recent comments of his. As a kid, I couldn’t stand him when I had to listen to him, but as I got older I realized he was a brilliant man who had an incredible command of the English language. Just seeing the keyboard warriors on twitter talk smack in the manner that they are is disgusting. There are plenty of people I disagree with politically and I could easily make a counter to what they are saying about Rush, but I would never say anything like what people are saying about Limbaugh. It’s actually really sad that people are saying what they are so openly like it’s ok.
