Well, Aleppo is probably the last place on Earth you want to be right now unless you're a jihadist or a Russian pawn.

It's shaping up to be quite possibly the worst humanitarian crisis of the young century as Russia bombs it into the ground and seems determined to starve it. This may be why the Russians possibly bombed the aid convoy intentionally, as suspicions that that is exactly what they did mount.

From most rational accounts, it appears that all the Kremlin and Assad are doing there now is just bombing. No discrimination appears to be made now. Just bombs away.

The Kremlin doesn't care about "humanity." It turned 100,000 of its own citizens into dust particles twenty years ago just to keep a constantly restive autonomous region under its territorial control; it will not hesitate to do the same with Aleppo just to achieve whatever aims it thinks will be realized in doing so.

two different points in time. Assad just so happened to have all of these leaders nice and locked up after he demanded them from us (dumb prison exchange in the first place). and then somehow they all escape at the same time from a max security prison while Assad mentions nothing. this escape happens right as rebels start stirring up issues in other provinces. but then suddenly these Islamists just so happen to come home and attack the rebels and suddenly Assad stops losing 100 sq miles a day. suddenly the rebels lose access to the fuel fields and their main sources of income.

Saying they created ISIS is very bold. No, they did not create ISIS, just like Obama did not create ISIS. But, yes, they fund and/or aide ISIS, whether it be through funneling jihadists out of the North Caucasus or letting them loose on the population, as Louder pointed out. Both sides have attempted to use ISIS as pawns against the other in this conflict.

Our policy over there at least since the mid-70's or even further back with Operation Ajax in Iran has done a lot to damage our reputation and ruin our goodwill.
