Only because of a technicality.

The courier sat on the sample over the weekend because he didn't think FedEx/Kinko's was open on a Saturday night. Not exactly exonerating....

Congrats MLB, you have just ruined any chance of getting redemption to make your sport legitimate.

There's been more than meets the eye here from the beginning.
A person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press that, after being informed of the positive result, Braun asked to have another urine test taken, and that the second test was within normal range.

I'm wondering if the herpes story was true and if MLB isn't throwing out the Fed Ex story so they don't have to admit that their NL MVP is receiving treatment for an STD.

All of baseball is tainted...all of it.

So true. I'm just waiting to hear news break about Pujols having a positive test. That'll completely ruin baseball for me. It's already a joke, but if someone like him is positive I'll never watch it again. Honestly, as a Cards fan, I liked Braun until the positive test results came out. This approval of appeal is a joke.

If your last straw is whether or not Pujols juiced then you might as well throw in the towel, IMO.

I really want to punch him in the face right now after hearing his press conference.

Reporter: "Ryan, why was your testostorone levels so high?"

Ryan: "I don't know, it's all the guy who handles it fault because it was tampered...so I still don't know"

Paraphrase, but still.

I don't know what to think after this presser...

That's Braun's a major douche and refuses to answer anything about why his levels were so high and going off a conspiracy tangent that it was tampered with?

I wonder how much steroids, or whatever, actually affects baseballing skillz

Well Lester Munson of ESPN (legal analyst) is being told that there is some question of whether or not the sample was Braun's.

And that it wasn't in a fridge at all, it might have been on a desk for two days.
