Firing Day would probably not set OSU back very much. The place recruits itself.

That said, it would be absolute insanity to even consider his seat hot. He will consistently get his team into the CFP regardless of the UM-OSU game outcome.

The question is who would do any better? Urban picked Day to replace him and got him as ready as he could.

Firing Day cold would be crazy. Who do you hire? Bringing an off the wall pick like John Harbaugh would be fun for college football, but not happening in any universe.

There's a very small group of coaches that they'd want and many of them have really good situations where they are.
