What if Saban left and they hired Kiffin? I couldn't imagine me hating Bama any more than I do right now...but it would multiply x1000

High Profile by means of everyone knows of us, of how good we used to be, and of all our issues. Even with the mediocre last decade or so, we are still plastered or talked about on the TV. More so than the likes of many other Universities.

I think not going to the BCSNCG has left Saban a little bored, so he's dedicated to last week or so to trolling Tennessee fans. First he gets their hopes up that he's leaving Bama before pulling the rug out, then he has Kiffin come hang out for a week.

This is trolling of epic proportions.

Putting aside my dislike for the man.
I think CLK can be a good play caller, he showed flashes at times his one season here, Alabama, UGA,and UF game were all good calls from him. The Memphis, UCLA, Peach Bowl and Ole Miss games were horrific. (ole miss game was more monte than CLK). Same deal at USC.

I just dont think he has enough experience doing it. Maybe had he been a full time OC for a couple years things wouldve turned out better for him.
Hell, who are we kidding someone will give him another good HC job.

This is a good move, for both Saban AND Kiffin. Regardless of how we may feel about him and his ethics, Kiffin is held in high regard as a offensive genius by people who are WAY more qualified to give that label to him than any of us on VN are.

Saban is looking to be more open with his offense, and Kiffin is looking for some positive headlines to land somewhere as an OC or HC soon. It's a no brainer for all parties involved.

I don't know if it's true, but I heard Cowherd say this morning that Kiffen was @ Alabama with Saban. He was brought in to help out with the offense apparently. Thought it worth mentioning.

I bet this has something to do with a Tuska-loosa deli being reworked to fine tune money transfers and laundering. Booster goes in front door, buys a $5,000 samich and recruit family get cold, hard cash handed out the back door.

kiffen will also rework the "comfort girls" effectiveness at bama with prizes for the best "Closers"! In the future, both father and son will get happy endings!
