I'm saying that success in the MAC doesn't mean you can roll in to the SEC and match it. I hope he wins Championships here and has success out the arse , but I'm not tossing him in the Hall of Fame yet.

At some point you have to consider quality of opponent. Just saying he's going to be good because he was great in a lower conference is just as near sided as saying he won't be any good

CBJ beat more teams with winning records with a down trodden TN team than Franklin has at Vandy in 3 years.

I may be exaggerating but only by a game or two.

I don't blame him, after Bama fans poisoning trees, teebagging LSU fans, even shooting their own fellow fans... I'm pretty sure Saban realized they are the biggest sore losers ever, and it would be a bit more than just a mattress burning if he left, he might not live to coach at Texas.

Its hard for anyone to say that wasn't directly involved. I imagine with the money we were offering, Jones was probably the best we were getting.

Our AD is cheap. They want to spend next to nothing and get everything in return.

Everyone has a price, you just have to be willing to pay it. Tennessee isnt prepared to pay for it yet

I should have said "most" were elite

He's only lost 14 in 6 years. He lost 6 of those his first year

Jones is already halfway to 14 in 1 year. He'll match it next season

Who out there was worth this unlimited price (excluding the wet dream of Gruden)?

Did you think Urban Meyer was a good hire for FL coming from Utah?

Or Saban for LSU coming from Mich St where never win the Big 10 and only cracked 7 wins 2 out of 5 years?

Or Richt coming in with zero HC experience?
