When a team lines up there are 2 guards. Also ND is deep at Oline... here is their depth chart from the playoffs. Pendleton was listed as backup center which might be something people are sleeping on. They have one dude in their 2 deep under 310 and pendleton was the only one under 6'5. Maybe we are bringing him in for insurance at not only guard but center also?

That's impressive depth.

Going to face tougher competition now though.
They beat 7 ranked teams this year, which I believe was the most in the country. He faced some very good defensive fronts this year including A&M, Penn State and Louisville who had 3 guys who will be drafted on day 2 or 3.

Georgia's DL was very good and Ohio State's was tops in the nation, but he did not see action against them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we've ever started an Offensive Lineman recruited by Ellarbee / Huepel in a single game. And now it looks like probably 4 out of 5 starters in 2025 will be transfers. What does that say about recruiting and development? I'm guessing we use a lot of our NIL on transfer OL when we have quite a few offensive Lineman on our roster that haven't seen the field. I was really patient because it takes OL a little longer to develop. But we are now in year 5 with this coaching staff.
This is the first I am hearing this. Please tell me more.

Schedule was inflated by playing service academies who also took advantage of a weak schedule. At least prior to the playoffs. Indiana isn't really that tough of a game either.

Notre Dame's Offensive and Defensive Lines pushed UGA all over the field so if he got beat out by some of those guys, he's pretty dang good. Welcome Aboard!!!

Tate wants to be a #1 receiver; he’s never going to do that at Ohio State with Jeremiah Smith there. That’s coming from the Ohio state side. Texas and Oregon involved here; he has a close relationship with Tennessee and possibly a better chance at being the man here. If it breaks to just pure money, Texas Oregon would be hard to beat. Of course he could also get more from OSU. And his GF is at Oregon as well.

Think youre up to date on the rumors and speculation
If his GF is at Oregon AND they can pay more you can move on. See Beck. Tate will be a Duck.
