Was in SF last weekend. It was delightful. Beautiful weather, happy people of every shade. And best of all, not a MAGA hat in sight.

LOL a good luck trying to make that stick in SoCal. Them pools , lawns and golf courses will be watered . That’s one of the huge devides between NorCal and SoCal .

I think the "effing kidding" reaction is more applicable to the claim that a fine for excess use is a form of socialism. It has zero to do with socialism.

It’s essentially a big government police state tactic.

Fining people exorbitant amounts of money for using a paid utility is ridiculous.

I’ll never understand why liberals hate freedom and love the government.

Since you brought up the speed limit let’s have car makers put speed trackers on cars that notify the government every time the car exceeds the speed limit for automatic fines instead of speeding tickets.

I'm really surprised the govt hasn't tried to mandate speed governors that limit a car to no faster than "x" speed (80mph for example).

If this happens, you can believe that the govt people responsible for it happening will NOT have these speed governors on their vehicles.
