There’s plenty fun to do there, but nothing much you can’t find in any other city. It’s just a lot more trouble in NYC.

I will say...if you’re a single man it’s one of the few places where women are the aggressors out on the town. Must be more single women in the city than single men.

I was in Manhattan for my 50th a year and a half ago.
Then again a few weeks back. It’s unbelievable how ****** that place got in a year and a half. When I visit family in New York I’ll likely never go to the city again. It’s that bad.

I haven't been since Covid. Will be interesting. I love visiting that city in the summer. But DeBlasio is an idiot. So is Cuomo.

I grew up in NYC. Spent a lot of time in all of the boroughs. Also have been back countless times for either business or vacation time to see friends.
The last time I was there, I visited the neighborhood I grew up in and I felt sad at how much it had deteriorated. Windows with iron bars, fences with barbed wire, etc.

The city has taken a drastic turn for the worst. Crime, graffiti, homelessness, affordability, empty storefronts. Yes, there is still a lot to do but it is not what it once was and friends and family continue to leave because of all of the problems.
