I was. I am not now; therefore, I do not order persons.
Since you like posing hypothetical questions, I've got one for you.
Let's say, as a police officer, you witness a 10 year old boy and a 60 year old man getting naked. They then proceed to head to the shower. Do you, as a police officer, let them go on their merry way without stopping them and asking questions? If the questions are answered, do you continue to let them go on their way?
I just have a really hard time accepting that an officer of the law would think that being naked and alone in a shower with a 10 year old boy is all a matter of your "constructs and norms".
I would ask questions. That does not mean I would keep them from showering. I might even sit around in the locker room to be sure that nothing happened. The act itself though, so far as I know is not criminal, and I certainly do not see it as immoral.

Precisely. If he is not a predator, how does he remember who he was with on which date?Predators remember
You contradicted your entire argument about speculation, good people, innocent, et al bs in one statement. If nothing is wrong with it, why do you need to be there to watch to make sure nothing happened?
I have stated that I am not a good person; do I think it is right to speculate? No. Does that mean I always do the right thing? No.
