I think it's number 3, Duke is raising so much hell about shutting it down so I think that's comingIt's one of three things:
#1) The SEC Championship game won't have fans in attendance.
#2) The remainder of the SEC football season is cancelled outside of the SEC championship game.
#3) Basketball season is postponed until further notice.
I doubt it's #1. We're not lucky enough for it to be #2. And it's 2020 and basketball is the only thing to bring us joy so it's more than likely #3.
Bleh that’s the worst news. And Pruitt will save his job by virtue of not being able to lose any more games.I have to be a bit careful since I have media ties but it is supposedly about basketball AND football.
They are going to cancel all remaining football games since Bama and Florida are playing for the SEC Title anyway. And basketball is going on hiatus until mid-January. When it returns it will be conference only play and possibly some weekends in a bubble.
I could be wrong but I'm definitely not just talking out of my rear end......

SEC schools are getting an extra 20 million a year but it doesn't start until 2023 IIRC.
