Santorum

You probably ought to go back and re-read, you're very clearly not following. (or don't, I'm starting to lose interest)

His quote wasn't "racist" when he said it, when I referred to it the first time or the second. So not sure what you're on about.

It only became a talking point after it was fakenewsed onto twitter twice, out of context - all in an effort to convince them they'd been slighted.

You're right, it's not rocket surgery.
Hmm. I guess you would rather dig in than admit you took a quote sideways.

Whatevs, bro.

It took the white man conquering the savages to build this great nation. Without us, they'd still be riding horses and living in tee pees.

At least this sounds like what Rick "Mr. Frothy" Santorum was probably implying.
Lol. Now you can discern implication when you have trouble understanding a direct quote.

I'll be glad when it's not "pick on Septic" day on my calendar.

As was pointed out earlier, you can poke holes in the points of this article.

EDITORIAL BY THE PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE: Rick Santorum needs a lesson on Native American history
Liberal revisionist b.s. The first European settlement in the new world was Pensacola and it was wiped out by a hurricane, not a farming issue. Do you really believe if there were no natives when the Europeans landed the United States would be significantly different than it is today? Cmon man, why is it so hard for whites to be proud of what their ancestors built?

The towns i live in and drive through all got their names from the natives. Sometimes I have corn for dinner, my local HS has a popular lacrosse team, just a few examples
I thought corn was a Spanish deal.

Serious? That's your examples of injun culture influencing ours?

Heck, I would have mentioned worthless drunks, laziness maybe thievery but I admit I have reasons for my bias.

No, corn did not come from Spain
Ok.
Corn. I agree. Corn is part of our culture. Names of places, streets...is that culture??? Maybe.
Lacrosse is not part of our culture. Without looking who can name the top lacrosse players and lacrosse champions?

Facepalm***

You asked me about MY daily life, not "our culture." Those were 3 answers from my daily life

Thats a lie

No lie at all. My grandfather (moms dad) was 1/2 whatever infested the mountains of southwest VA and those are accurate descriptions of him. From what I know and heard those are accurate descriptions of his mother and his family.

That's true. But I thought we were under Culture on the outline. I didn't know we changed to a new point.
