True. I was speaking about up to the point of Trump taking office. Vilifying presidents wasn't a creation of the left, it was a creation of the right. The difference now is that there is a president that fully warrants the vilification.

Clinton (I'm assuming you mean Bill) was unfairly vilified? Dude was cheating on his wife in the Oval Office with an intern. How can you possibly claim he was "unfairly" vilified? I will never understand how the left turns the guilty into the victim. No one forced Bill to insert that cigar into Monica's hoo-haw.

Hannity was in Atlanta. I despised him even then. Along with Neal Bortz. I'm sure every area had access to multiple conservative talking heads.

Progress will come when Democrats become mortified they nominated Hillary, and had to rig their own system to do so. If character is that damn important to you, shouldn't you demand it from your own candidate? All the "blame Trump" and "But Russia" BS that comes from the left just serves to distract them from fixing their own problems. Years of scandal and sketchy behavior from Hillary combined with an ounce of common sense should have told them running Hillary was a bad idea. Honestly, if the Dems had run a decent candidate, they most likely would have won. They shot themselves in the foot by running her. Your party failed you. Most people who support Trump, it's not that they saw him as a good choice, they just saw him as the better choice. And now that he's in office, you want people to hope he fails? That's just pure stupidity.


If you want to feel outraged, if you want to whine and cry, and throw a tantrum...it shouldn't be directed at Trump, it should be directed at DNC leaders who screwed your party by choosing to tie their Presidential hopes to someone more horrible than Trump. That's why all of your "Trump is a horrible person!" rings hollow and falls on deaf ears. The left put forth someone at least as horrible(again, imo, more horrible) as Trump and you say nothing of it. If horrible people offend you, you would have spoken out against her instead of yelling "right wing conspiracy!" which anyone who has done any reading knows is complete and total bull ****. The woman was and most likely still is corrupt.

Could it have had anything to do with the number of women that came forward claiming inappropriate behavior? No, that couldn't be it, could it? Bill Clinton was not a victim so trying to paint him as one makes you look foolish.

I was there. Hannity was just starting out on 640. The point is, it was almost entirely a regional thing still. Fox News wasn't really a player until the late 90s. What you really had was a left leaning monopoly that finally started to crack.

It wasn't left leaning. It just seemed that way to people on the right. Reagan throwing out the Fairness Doctrine in 1987 was the opening of Pandora's Box and it was something pushed for by the right.

I was also thinking that the left vilified Robert Bork when Reagan nominated him in 1987 and Clarence Thomas, when George Bush nominated him in 1990. For some reason, I thought that was all in the years B.C. or Before Clinton. But, I guess they deserved it, right Luther?
