What a performance! I remember the Reagan/Carter & Reagan/Mondale debates. Palin has that same ability to connect with the average "Joe" that the Gipper did. While the lawyer(Biden) was spewing his redundant attacks on Bush/Cheney past, Sarah was offering hope for the average family for the future.

Too bad she's not the head of the ticket. Don't know if the McCain can overcome the present turmoil inthe financial sector.

She has the ability to perform on stage like Reagan but it’s too bad she doesn’t hold the same free market economic philosophy that Reagan held…

or any original thoughts
what good is originality. I would guess that Obama has hasn't said anything original in his entire campaign, except for some of the early silliness that he is now trying to retract.

She represents a concept.........the average middle class person going to Waswhington.......not some effete Ivy League snob attorney. This is what made Harry Truman so popular. Would Truman won a debate with Biden? No, but he was a hell of a vice president/president.

I've heard it all now. Reminds me of Dan Quayle comparing his experience to JFK. In the form of Lloyd Bentsen........you ma'am are no Ronald Reagan.

She is an example of the everyday citizen in America. She has been effective because she has taken a common sense approach to politics.

I was very impressed with Palin. Biden just looked up to something all the time with that smile.

What about Palin makes you laugh so easily?
Other than her being a female Bush or starting off the debate talking about her soccer mom experience? Or maybe her poor use of the English language? Perhaps her mispronouncing a General's name all night? I dunno...

Long story short, Biden won that debate. If you think otherwise, you're just drinking the McKoolaid.

I guess Biden forgetting which section of the Constitution dealt with the powers of the Vice Presidency happened while you were out of the room, eh?

Hmm, he should have been vague like Palin and say the same things over and over.. I'm not saying that Biden didn't make mistakes, but it was rather obvious that overall, he knew what he was talking about. Palin? Not so much.

1) I do not see that
2) This elitism thing really runs deep with Obama supporters doesn't it? I really find that so interesting.
3) The rest of your comment is as nonsensical as Biden's views on energy, global warming, etc.

Thank you.

So let's see... Mr Experience Joe Biden sees FDR on T.V. in '29 and can't remember which part of the Constitution dealt with the VP.

Well done Mr. Biden!

No allvol it's not too hot outside today. I would wear a short sleeved shirt but maybe pants instead of shorts. I am trying out the Palin tactic of answering something with the subject of my choosing.

You mean like McCain is Bush?

A mistake is saying the wrong name etc.

Knowing what you are talking about?

Does that exclude his little mistake about what section of the Constitution deals with VP?

As if every politician doesn't do that?

Bingo. That is all I heard from him. It does not help that the moderator sucked.
