Onis Konabanny named Florida State and Tennessee as his final two schools on Sunday and this one sets up nicely for the Vols. He was back in Knoxville over the weekend and he has built some strong relationships with the staff. There is no decision date set yet, but Konabanny is not expected to go into his senior season uncommitted. Tennessee is in a good spot with a decision likely not too far off.
Such a delusional fan base.... bottom of the SEC in stadium, facilities, budget, staff, and revenue. It took spying, cheating, and a season ending qb injury to beat us, yet they somehow have deluded themselves in thinking they are an equal program.

The South Carolina standout is just scratching the surface of his football potential with his youth coming in France and England. Willie Martinez made a big impression on him and the Vols continue to be on a good spot here.
That is always MY key factor. Try to judge how high a player is on our war room wall by position and overall. Kind of a staff star system. GUESSING that current service star rating is not as much a driver as projected ability ceiling and cultural fit. Judging where they are in development cycle after visits and camps is big.staff made him a priority
“Florida State and Tennessee are the schools I am down to,” Konanbanny told On3 last month. “Tennessee was my first offer, so they have been with me from the beginning. I like how they stayed with me and have been consistent. Florida State offered a little later than Tennessee, but they have been recruiting me for a long time and I have strong relationships with the coaches there like I do at Tennessee.”
