'24 SC QB Jadyn Davis

I mean most of the elite programs have multiple 5-star QB’s on their bench. It doesn’t happen everywhere, but look at Alabama and Ohio State. They have guys willing to wait their turn because they know all it takes is one good season to get them drafted in the 1st Round.
Georgia has more five Star QBs on the bench then they do Starting

When a walk-on QB consistently beats out a slew of 5-star QB's on your roster over a 2-3 year period (while being called a game manager), what does that tell you about your 5-star QB's?

They aren't being developed. Smart's bad history with qb's goes all the way back to his hiring at Georgia.

It’s the good ole boy system. If they had a QB with talent they could literally stack titles and it would be hard for anyone to stop them.

but Bennett got them the title on his own….

I know we already have Nico lined up, but this kid might be a better fit in our offense if he can improve his arm strength. The upside isn’t there like Nico, but he seems a lot more polished. Having 3 elite QBs on our roster in 2024 heading into spring and summer practice sure would be a good problem to have

I never thought he would come here to potentially be a back up for 2 years.
Yeah....we need to recruit developmental guys at QB every other year.
Space the elite ones out by 2 years if possible.

Can't blame Jadyn, really. He's also another ready to play QB. Like Nico.
Except Nico will have a year on him

I honestly don’t know this answer and I’m curious: how string is Davis’ arm? Seems like a smaller kid is why I ask

One thing this offense does require above all else is a cannon with those quick long throws to the flats. You’ll have OPIs all day long with a noodle arm.
