The buzz: Jadyn Davis was back at
Michigan over the weekend and the buzz around the Wolverines is at an all-time high. Late in July, when Davis was in Ann Arbor for the Bar-B-Que, they did all they could to show Davis he was their guy for 2024. It made a big impression. He was back over the weekend and Michigan rolled out the red carpet for the Davis family. A month or so ago, it looked to be
Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Michigan and
Penn State were schools to watch closely for Davis.
North Carolina, the in-state school, has always been under consideration as well. A decision is likely to come in the next six or so weeks, I am told by a source. Michigan has created a gap between them and the others. Georgia has taken a quarterback. LSU has faded. He did visit
Tennessee recently, but the Vols are not viewed as a true contender. Clemson is hanging around, but they are also involved with Lagway. Penn State would love to get Davis back on campus. Right now, all signs point toward Michigan being tough to beat.
