Well in 2025 I think we have two really good options,

We already have an in with 2025 QB Madden Iamaleava who projects to be an elite prospect....could end up being an instate by that time, due to rumors of Iamaleava family moving to midstate.

Also some expect 2025 QB George MacIntyre from Brentwood Academy instate, to be a pretty good prospect. I expect one of those two to be our guy in 2025

It’s not crazy for him to want to go to Michigan. They’ve now appeared in the last two College Football Playoffs and the QB job there is wideeeeeee open for him to win. I highly doubt he wants to come here and compete against Nico.

We ran the ball more than throwing it this year.. 40 rushes a game to 32 passes

Yeah Michigan’s bread and butter is their running game which is why when Corum went down I figured it would come back to bite them sooner or later. McCarthy is more of a “game manager” and def not elite. I wouldn’t say he’s garbage necessarily, but definitely not great.

How is McCarthy elite?

A 5* QB with offers from Michigan, LSU, USC, Ohio State, Penn State, etc. How is that not considered elite, at least in terms of a high school QB, which is the scope of the discussion.

Sure, two years into his career, it's maybe fair to look at his college career and think he's not produced at an elite level. But the question was "What elite QB wants to play in a run-first offense?"
