'24 SC QB Jadyn Davis

He’s garbage. There’s a reason tcu wanted to force him to pass. Dykes said so in his presser before the game.

You're moving the goalposts if you're judging him after two years at Michigan. You asked what elite QB wants to play in a run-first offense. Either a 5* QB with McCarthy's offer list is considered an elite HS QB, or Jadyn Davis isn't an elite HS QB. It can't be both.

I think Heupel’s offense is better than Harbaughs but if Nico is great as advertised, probably won’t see the field much unless injuries happen.

Joe Milton had 10 TDs and 971 yards as a back up this season. Started 2 games.

Nico will definitely play. I wouldn't be surprised to see him throw similar stats even if Joe balls out.

I’m not moving the goalpost. Based on what have you done for me lately, Jadyn is an elite high school qb prospect. Meeechigan’s qb hasn’t been elite or good since he’s been in college. Point is, he’s not good, no elite qb wants to be in a run first offense.

McCarthy was an elite high school QB. A 5* with offers from all over. He wanted to be in that run-first offense. What is so difficult to grasp about this?

It doesn't matter if he's been elite since arriving at Michigan. We are talking about whether an elite HS QB (Davis in this case) would want to play in that offense. McCarthy, who was once an elite HS QB, himself, chose to do it.

So, yeah, bringing into question his "eliteness" after two years of college to discredit his HS credentials is moving the goalposts.

What is difficult to grasp? All i said is he is garbage (in college). Idc what he did in high school, he’s in college now and he’s garbage now. Take what i said or leave it. You have your opinion, i have mine. When a coach’s main gameplan is to have your qb throw the ball, yo qb is trash. When you get to college, your high star rating is irrelevant. And I’ve watched him play multiple times, he is NOT good.

Considering Tennessee is a “run first offense” play call percentage wise. As are plenty of others.
Meeechigan’s offense old school football with small nuance twists. Comparing apples and oranges. Their offense resembles pruitt’s offense to a large degree with a couple nuance twists. That’s why their rb was a heisman contender until he got hurt

If Joe balls out, Nico will play in his four games allowed to still redshirt, and Tayven will get a significant amount of snaps. I think you have to get both of those guys some in game experience, but Tayven has used his redshirt.

Your literal question to me was, "What elite QB wants to play in a run-first offense?", referencing why Jadyn Davis...an elite QB...would want to go to Michigan to play in that offense, and insinuating that no elite QB would want to. Detailing why you think McCarthy is garbage after two years has nothing to do with the original question you asked.

McCarthy was an elite QB at the same stage as Davis, and he chose to go play in that run-first offense.

You are trying to compare McCarthy and two years of results that you call "garbage" to a QB coming out of high school instead of comparing them, their mindset, and their credentials/pedigree at the same time in their career.

McCarthy and Davis were nearly identical prospects coming out of high school and one already chose to play in that offense, so what prohibits the other from doing so?

We can keep going back and forth. He is GARBAGE, DOO DOO, POO POO, HORRENDOUS, & threw 2 pick 6’s that cost them the game. He makes bennett (uga) look like a legitimate nfl qb. Want me to keep going?

Nah, you argue like my 9 year old. You posed a question, I gave an answer. I can't help it if you then change the parameters of the question and spend all afternoon telling me how bad a kid is as if that were the original topic, and repeatedly deny that you've moved the goalposts.

No one is worried about a redshirt for him. He’s either here three years or he isn’t what everyone thinks. It isn’t 1990, great talent doesn’t redshirt.

I stated a rhetorical question. You got in your feelings. You brought in a bunch of irrelevant arguments about high school star rating bs b/c you cant pinpoint anything hes done at meeechigan. He is a weak link to their offense. He’s garbage, nothing more, nothing less. Elite qb’s dont throw multiples pick 6’s in the biggest moments. You keep bringing up moving the goalpost, i dont think you can comprehend that he’s not good b/c you’re a star gazer. You probably think will levis is elite too 🙄. I regret going back and forth with you bc now i look like a fool too. Be gone

Bryce Young redshirted. Nico will RS and then take over in 2024.

*Milton transfers*
VN: He is sooooo good, he will do sooooo well here.

Milton's stats at Michigan (Don't need to put them because they are horrendous)

VN: "McCarthy is trash"
McCarthy's stats this season alone:
- 2700 passing yards
- 22 TDs/5 INT's

Yawnnnnnn. If McCarthy is trash then what does that make Milton?
