I’m disappointed at the quality of these lockedon podcasts. The ones I’ve heard so far - the hosts are not good listens. Like I really want to get into them bc I drive a lot for work but I just keep wondering how they got the LockedOn branding or whatever for these pods

To be fair - it has to be really hard to come up with interesting content for thirty minutes each day. I think they’d be best served having two hosts to discuss topics. But one guy just rambling on for thirty minutes every day is tough.

Also it’s not just the lockedon ones. AP and all them sound bad on podcasts. Clearly have info but tough listens.

UT needs an influx of youth and modernization into the coverage of UT sports. Get younger, more exciting announcers. Get some podcast hosts that aren’t like 50 bc no offense to the 50 year olds here holy ish they are boring.

One thing to keep in mind is this host is kind of an idiot homer. I base that off of listening to this episode and listening to the cross over episode prior to last weeks game. He was convince uscjr was going to beat us.

I have always liked AP & Hubbs (both bring good info) but do agree with you about the podcasts. Rob Lewis looks like he is taking a nap half the time.
