Seems like their fans can be more realistic than a lot of ours. A couple of them seemed to openly admit to the fact that this came down to UT wanting him more than USC. That can easily go on Muschamp based on the info out there, especially based on the info the poster on VQ relayed (who appears to be a family member or family friend). Props to Pruitt on this one.

I did find it funny that one of their fans thinks we are trying to "jump back over" them in the SEC East "hierarchy." They did beat us last year. Muschamp is Butch Jones' daddy. But USCe above UT in the SEC East "hierarchy"? That's a bit much.

I don't really care what has led to him getting here. All I care is he handles his business properly and I believe in our coaches to handle that. Fresh start for the kid

Yep will be interesting to see where he ends up. Muschamp and TROb loved him as a DB prospect. I'm sure Pruitt probably does too. Probably comes down to does he want both AT and BT on defense or does he just want one on each side. BT put that he is a WR at TN on twitter so sounds like He will begin there

Big time pickup...this kid reminds me of that WR USCe had a couple of years ago that absolutely tore us up...I’m drawing a blank on his name though

Pharoah Cooper? I think Bryce may be bigger than him but seems to have a similar skill set.

SC consistently produces great WR talent. Alshon Jeffery, AJ green, Sydney rice, Troy Williamson, Bryan Edwards, Debo Samuel just off the top of my head. I think we should play Thompson at CB out of need but if he plays WR I won’t complain at all.

11 rec, 233 rec yards, 2 rec tds, 3 rushes for 23 yards and a td, 1 for 2 passing for 30 yards and a TD. But we won the game thanks to Dobbs.

Dobbs completed 22 of 39 passes for 304 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 166 yards on 24 carries with three more touchdowns. The Gamecocks' struggling defense surrendered 645 total yards. :)

IMO both could do both. I would probably say Taylor is a better cb prospect and Thompson is a better wr prospect. But I am certainly no coach.

Didn’t cooper get hurt in that game? I seem to remember him going down in the 4th...we could do absolutely nothing with him that game...I see that same kind of bounce and elusiveness in Thompson

I don't remember him getting hurt. I think he was going back and forth with Dobbs till the end. And yeah, I think Thompson has similar attributes. Maybe not quite as elusive as Cooper but seems way more physical and a little bigger.

Man I’m really torn on this one. Normally I would vote for putting him at CB, but he just looks like one of those amazing athlete WRs that we haven’t been getting lately. If he plays D, I still want him to get plenty of touches on O.

It's a highlight film lol. Don't put a lot of stock in those, because they only show the highlights. We could land a two star player with offers from Austin Peay, WKU and the blind blind school and people on here would be like "Boom!" "Wow, this guy's highlight tape is incredible!!" "Will be surprised if he isn't a 4 star in a couple months!" "I trust Dooley/Jones' evaluation skills over all these recruiting sites." Etc.
