Uh... okay.
That sideline catch showed great concentration to not only make the catch after the bobble but to also stay in bounds.
Also lets not dismiss the over the defenders back incredible catch he had in the same game.
Is he Randy Moss? No. But hes made plays that us fans still talk about two years later and honestly that Hail Mary will become a part of Tennessee lore. Your grandkids will see that play.
Suggesting he is not that good is something I simply do not agree with. He could play on my team any day of the week. Especially if its a big game.
JJ is overrated by our fans as a WR because #1 he is a dawg #2 he made some big catches at big moments. But as far as being a complete WR he is not very strong.
JJ is tall, quick feet, physical, high points the ball, good ball skills. As far as route running Im not educated enough in football to know, but JJ has all the tools you want in a WR. And in my personal opinion, the attitude he has is even more important. WR is a 1v1 position. Who wants it more kinda thing. JJ is not the best WR to have played at our storied program, but hes a damn good athlete and player. Idk how anyone can argue againat that.
I like the one where he wnt thru the DB and caught the ball off his back like a boss. But sure...2 plays
I believe that was a LB, that dude with the long blonde hair. But either way, helluva catch. There was also a play in the UGA game where he crunched a DE in a head on block, which allowed Kamara to score. He may not be the most talented receiver, but he is an Alpha dog.
Cmon man. Im not going to get into a debate but we all know Jennings is about as elusive as an elephant
We dont go 4 and ****ing 8 with JJ. We dont lose to all 3 of Kentucky, Florida and South Carolina with him. Probably win 2/3 if not all 3. Last play of the USCjr game, JGs not throwing to Palmer. The Dog gets the ball and catches it. And the vast majority of Tennessee fans know he isnt elite, but hes definitely a solid #2 SEC receiver.
