‘23 SC WR Devin Hyatt (Arizona)

Do we have comparative speed data on these two? Track or other at the same time in their careers.
Jalin Hyatt had a 4.31 40 the spring after his sophomore season. Ended up with PRs of 10.46 for the 100 and 21.14 for the 200. Devin ran track as a sophomore and had PRs of 11.30 for the 100 and 23.02 for the 200

Yeah this ain’t it.

You aren’t that guy, pal. Watch how your brother did it and follow that.

Hard work and patience.

He's actually right.
IMG qbs was trash and Tate was the only one that could get real production from him. Even 2024 Echols only had 200 yards receiving this season for IMG.

He needs go somewhere where he will play and start to develop.

I had hoped he would get a PWO with NIL deal like the one it APPEARS Bishop is getting. Of course I also hoped he was as fast as his brother and could room with him. Without his brother here to room with etc, the financial requirements for out of state would be hard to afford.

That is incredibly useful - thanks. Speed can be gained, but certainly there is a genetic and just what you're born with element to it as well. Jr. needs to start working out and doing speed drills with his brother it appears. 10.46 is fire.

Im wondering if Mr. and Mrs. Hyatt had a discussion with him after he posted that. That doesn’t seem like something they’d be onboard with .

Makes sense for any player to go where they will play...dominate a year or two then transfer with better NIL options among teams that can get them into the league.

Some of y’all hitting the egg nog a little too hard already. Why do you care if he wants to go somewhere he can play immediately? Don’t blame him it’s his choice, good luck to him. Most likely he ends up at USF anyway where he will start.

That's great. Go there learn our system and transfer in for his jr & Sr years.

Mistake for him to go to IMG. Object lesson for others. Wish he could get a shot at UT but he needs to make a good choice for himself... and some here need to chill out. He could still prove to be a good player that we want out of the portal some day.

Don't think he has signed yet. Do you have any productive Vols of the recent past that have similar measurables and times?

ANYBODY know where the staff and family relationship stands? Could they be putting off the decision until after draft day where maybe they would like for him to ALSO attend UT; maybe on a big brother assisted NIL deal to play for CJH and Pope if he gets a really good payday?

Just hate to risk a legacy guy going elsewhere and blowing up. It would get insufferable among those in the "everybody has them" element across social media and radio shows. A spinoff of the Randall Cobb syndrome.

I think folks overreacted to his statement about wanting to play, after I am sure he/they felt mislead by IMG, a decision that they believe MAY have cost him committable bigtime offers and the platform to gain the exposure his brother got here. Don't know what the IMG pitch was or what his production would have earned him if he stayed at his HS.

Wish him well however this turns out.
