Scariest movies you've ever seen?

Strangers didn't bother me in the least. In fact I was annoyed how the home owners were so futile.

I was the same way. I was more angry towards them for being that way.

I enjoyed the Ring but it didn't scare me because I don't watch VHS any more.

House on Haunted Hill (late 90s version) scared the crap out of me.

And of course there's the Exorcist. To this day that movie makes me scared.

The Shining. You have an uneasy feeling that whole movie.

I totally forgot about Housr on Haunted Hill. That was definitely freakier than I was expecting.

The most terrified I think I ever was as a kid was watching the Twilight Zone movie and the part with John Lithgow on the plane seeing that alien creature outside tearing off the wing. I still remember actually being paralyzed in fear in this scene!
