It was a bit disarming when it snuck into theaters with almost no fanfare or previews. I was in high school at the time and we all were expecting a sci-fi flick.

The only movie that truly scared me s**tless was the original Nightmare on Elm Street. Freddy was terrifying in the original.

A Scifi movie that scared me was Intruders from 1992. I made the mistake of watching this alone at home lol.

It could have been so much scarier if they hadn't cut nearly 30 mins off the film. What was cut was scenes of the crew being tortured in Hell.

I remember watching this at the tender age of 5. Mom and dad had rented it and wouldnt let me watch it. I got up early on a Saturday morning and decided to sneak and watch it. I slept in their room for a week after. They didn't even punish me because they knew I learned my lesson.
