Schlossnagle to Texas!!

Allowing Texas to come to the SEC was and still is a mistake. They’ve ruined 2 conferences already. The most entitled fan base and athletic department by a country mile. I feel bad for A&M fans even though they were laughing at us saying TV was going to take the texass job. Right now they feel like the little brother that they always feared that they were.

Man, I really feel for those A&M fans! What a kick to the gut, when they had everything trending upward.

And, as one comment I read on an Aggie site noted, "Held us hostage for an $85 mill stadium upgrade and then leaves. No integrity."

This is what pursuing happiness/fulfillment with a materialist worldview does to everyone.

I think fans in every SEC stadium should boo him relentlessly every time he and Texas visits. Make it personal. Make it so shameful and uncomfortable and socially unacceptable that other coaches will think twice before divorcing their team.

We still have the power of shame. Instead of ragging on other players, let's put our most negative voices to a positive use.

Supposedly, according to an Aggie fan Schloss was fed up with the A&M AD. He had fired some of Schloss’s staff without his knowledge AND not staying true to his promises with their stadium renovations. If that’s true I can kinda understand wanting to leave but the timing is crappy and he also apparently didn’t I for his players he was leaving either. They had to find out from social media like the rest of us. Brutal.

The AD at Texas, Chris Del Conte, was his AD at TCU, too.

The guy doesn’t have a lick of honor or manhood in his body, regardless if the AD friction is true or not. To not tell your own team ahead of time, barely back from Omaha and still reeling from a hard fought, runner up finish, is unforgivable.

Throw on top of that his little pity party, holier than thou interview last night. Don’t blame A&M for being livid at the guy, cultists or not.

Biggest liar in college baseball …
Well, I called it out yesterday when everyone trashed the reporter at Omaha (an A&M beat writer) asking the question that everyone in Aggieland wanted to be resolved......and Schloss did not put it to rest. Oh, he scolded the guy but didn't say "Im not leaving". So no shock to me. But boy they are all torn up in Bryan/College Sta. And I don't blame them. It would seem Schloss and Texas had an agreement BEFORE the final CWS game. That would upset any fanbase.

I thought it was a bit odd of him to blowup on the reporter last night. He was offended someone would question his loyalty to Texas A&M and that he never envisioned taking another job.

Yet, if that was truly the case, why not dispel the rumors earlier in the day?....the same day your team is playing for a National Championship. Why let the rumors swirl and let supposedly false info distract his team before the biggest game of their lives? Why not inspire your team by affirming your loyalty to them and telling them he was there to stay.

Actions speak louder than words. And that's why I thought something was off after that press conference....and what do you know? Not even 24 hrs later he is leaving for Austin..

And lets not forget who the A&M AD is......good ole loyal Trev Alberts. Served him right to get housed by Schloss to be honest.

I’d take anyone but Kent. ESPN ruined whatever good I could have mustered for the kid.

No family shots or backgrounds for the rest of their team, it was “All Kent, All The Time”. Don’t want that clown show in Knoxville.
Kent had an incredible postseason batting average. Went from a BA of .280 to .330. Everyone wants to talk about A&M missing B. Montgomery, but his absence gave way to Kent who hit better than him during the postseason.

The kid may have a decently high ceiling..

My money is on they had a deal in place ahead of or early on in the CWS. Worst kept secret in college baseball was Texas moving on from Pierce for what seems likes months now.

All that bellyaching from him about how he gave up so much to go to A&M, blah blah blah. Don’t blame A&M fans for wanting to burn some mattresses. Hope he sinks at Texas for many reasons.

Schloss did the Aggies dirty, but the Aggie fans are dumbasses. Trying to claim Schloss sabotaged their CWS chances and is the only reason they loss. In trying to diminish our accomplishment, they're denigrating the effort of their own players. We beat their ass fair and square. And their players played their hearts out, coming up just short of tying the game or taking the lead in the ninth.

“Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag “. James Brown.
Whenever Schloss walks out to the ump or the mound, wonder if we can get our stadium to play "Papa Was a Rolling Stone"...

Y'all probably have some better suggestions to accompany his appearances.
Take the money and run- Steve Miller Band
