Snuffleupagus to Texas. No honor, a coward, a liar.

All we heard was how classy he was vs the no classy Tony V. Hahahaha what a joke. Nothing more classless and dishonorable than this stunt.

I predict this move will back fire and he will never have this success again....

Wonder who TAMU goes after? I think we're safe with Tony, but TAMU will likely draw a good name. And as the domino of openings happens, my concern would be possibly losing Elander to a HC position. Which if it happens, it happens, he's totally deserving. But I love our staff and hope they stay together for at least a few more years.

Supposedly, according to an Aggie fan Schloss was fed up with the A&M AD. He had fired some of Schloss’s staff without his knowledge AND not staying true to his promises with their stadium renovations. If that’s true I can kinda understand wanting to leave but the timing is crappy and he also apparently didn’t I for his players he was leaving either. They had to find out from social media like the rest of us. Brutal.
Before I posted negatively, I tried to think of anything that could have justified his leaving this way. I would have never imagined that, though!

Second round of questions would be, for what possible reasons would an AD fire assistants that the head coach wouldn't agree with?

I’m fascinated by this X post. First time I watched it, I actually paid attention to what she was saying. Felt bad for her, and I could sense the pain and betrayal as a fan.

Second time, I kept the volume muted and just perused her bosom. And thanked Schloss for being the cause of this delightful sight…

I don’t think they were assistants. They were friends of his that worked in the athletic department.

Oh and now the rumor is he and Tony were contacted to gauge interest back in April! Tony told them no but Schloss agreed as long has he could bring his staff. His assistant coaches were in on it and supposedly have been recruiting for TX for weeks. He also only informed some of the underclass players about it to convince them to come with them. The upperclassman had no idea. This Aggie insider found out about this from some of the players parents. This story is wild.

What’s the beef between Schloss and Tony? Feel like Tony wanted no part of being mentioned with him (or coaching under him).

Honestly, Schloss is coming out looking like an absolute snake here. Apparently Laviolette asked for a meeting with him last night and got turned down. I can’t fathom respecting a man who isn’t even honorable enough to face his own players to tell them news of this magnitude himself.

Also, it’s being said that he sought out the TexAgs reporter who asked him the question about the Texas job after the press conference was over. Schloss told him never to speak to him again. What a ******* wimp.

Texas probably expected that they’d come out like villains, but Schloss just appears to be an uber douche at this point.

Some are suggesting that, because both he and Schloss were contacted by Texas in April, Tony realized what he was about to do to his team and school. Tony talks about loyalty A LOT, so I can easily see him losing a lot of respect for Schloss because of the circumstances. He wasn’t just leaving—he was leaving for an arch rival.

The loyalty talk really makes sense if he knew Schloss was doing this.

Mad respect for TV
