School Shooting in Knoxville

I don’t even know what I’m supposed to be answering or how it was relevant to what I said, but I think I saw you rise a few centimeters that time. Hysterics is a bad look for you.
Ruh roh. Now you're attributing reactionary behavior to me which doesn't exist. My experience is when that is the tactic, it describes the person describing more than the person being described.

You can pull the parachute now if you want. You don't have to continue to flail about in the hopes of landing a "punch".

PS. The conversation and posts are still available in the thread if you want to get a handle on what you're supposed to be answering if you want.

I have no fear . You tried to reduce everything talked about down to “taking away our guns “ I gave you examples of what infringements on a right , is being talked about daily and why that isn’t at all..
Pearl clutching .
Were you using examples of things being advocated for here, or did you bring those into the discussion?

Didn't you say there should be limits on the sale of multiple guns? By definition that is you banning the sell of a gun to a person.
It's not the same at all. Restrictions are not the same as banning.

So Jim Bob Sheriff Deputy could decide it’s ok for his cousin Eddy to buy more guns than the law allows?
Of course. Jim Bob already makes those types of decisions.
However, Jim Bob may get fired or even arrested for making poor decisions.

What exactly is there to discuss? You want to place more restrictions on firearms and we say amend the constitution.
An amendment is not required. There have already been restrictions that have been ruled constitutional.

Okay....what are the "restrictions" you are proposing? I dont want to misrepresent what you are saying.
A limit on the number of purchases in a given time frame.
A limit on the type of gun, type of clip, so on and so forth.

I’ve done a lot of education for people over the years to help them understand and hopefully curb those exact vices. I’ve seen the consequences of those things and address those problems as best I can when given the opportunity. I’ve also helped treat plenty of gunshot wounds. They are all problems that endanger public health, and they should all be addressed while simultaneously respecting a person’s autonomy.
buying a firearm isn't a "vice" lol....and i am sure you were totally on board with city laws limiting the size of a soft drink that you can buy, etc but it's pointless and doesn't have an affect on the actual problem, which is the point
