School Shooting in Knoxville

Agree that it’s true, disagree that this is a “missed boat.” It’s one of the places that the analogy fails because it’s unclear what’s equivalent.

A single six pack of beer.
A fifth of bourbon.
A glass of wine or cocktail at a bar.

Which of these is a single unit?
Single beer.
Glass wine
Shot of bourbon at bar

Are you asserting your facts are irrefutable, accurate, and applicable to subject matter discussed at all times?
No, I’m not infallible or rigid, especially on 2A issues. I welcome original thoughts and objective review. The worn out, disengaged company lines get tiresome though.

Ok. I still don’t think this passes through Luther’s rubric the way a reasonable person would apply it, but it’s now for different reasons so I’ll amend it and score you a missed boat.

And to be fair, missed boat is my perception not necessarily true.
Missed boat #3
"Bulk" sales of guns is dangerous per Luther because of illegal possesion/activity with those guns. Multiple units of alcohol in my home is more dangerous if my kid wanted to illegally drink and drive. One beer is illegal but likely not life threatening to him or others.

On both sides?
Are yours worn out?
You’re more than welcome to point any out, but my thoughts and positions are my own. I don’t listen to opinion news. As a matter of fact, most of the time this forum is the first time I hear about news stories. I also try very hard not to post anything from sources that are perceived to have political leanings, using scholarly articles and websites whenever possible.

Again, if we spoke in person I’m sure you’d find I’m fallible, but genuine and generally knowledgeable.

Problem is that

1) your "disengaged company lines that are tiresome" is the U.S. Constitution, so either you disagree with that document or you refuse to attempt to change it as the Founders saw fit to.
2) Any "new" ideas that anti-gun nuts are coming up with (Constitutional or not), have no practical or logical affect in the real world, so you might as well be discussing how banning red and blue doo rags will eliminate gang violence

We are on a regionally-associated anonymous Internet forum. I invite you to carry your views to a forum with an association in a less gun-friendly region.

I made my point, and it rings true. Keep devaluing competing perspectives at your own peril.
Devaluing? Where did I do that?

All I did was not immediately fall in line with what you presented. Just like you havent fallen in line with what has been presented to you. Difference is you play the victim card anytime an argument gets brought up.

Devaluing means to him not taking his dumb emotional arguments as a serious talking point, much like his universal healthcare stance

You and I are a lot of like. I generally I hear about things for the 1st time on this forum as well. I haven't followed your points or your arguments. I'm not fully aware of the discussion you're having. So I'm not casting aspersions on your facts or the arguments (worn out or not) you are bringing. I'm asking you if you feel like your talking points are tired and worn out since you think others' points are?

What’s typically presented to me is “not interested”. So, eventually, the sentiment becomes mutual.
