I watched Cordell Passley play in a tournament MLK weekend, and he really didnt impress me. Not too fast, a bit lazy, has no shot, and turned the ball over. He would not be a good fit at Tennessee and I dont think that Pearl should keep offering him that scholorship

Passley is not coming here...no way, no how. scout is wrong with us giving him an offer still.

Yeah as soon as Tony was off the team Cordell was long gone. I think he got into some trouble at school anyway - plus wasn't as good as Pearl thought to begin with.

Probably would have taken his scholarship away if Tony weren't kicked off the team.

Billy G was at the All "A" final. Apparently, that makes UK his leader. :eek:lol: Seriously, I hope Hopson and his coach read catspause whenever they're bored.

So according to Marc Maggard on the scout board, we've offered some 6'8 PF....

Doesn't make much sense - maybe he just thinks we offered. Maybe we'd offer later if we don't land anyone else.. but dunno.

I'll have to check his name in a few. Sounds like one of the super athletes with a small skill set that would have to develope any kid of shot.

He's referring to Latavious Williams (who supposedly told Marc he had an offer). Personally, I highly doubt Latavious has even received a conditional offer. In fact, there seems to be little interest on the part of Tennessee.

He's from Starkville - I've been under the assumption that he's MSU-bound. According to Rivals, we're not even on his list (which makes sense, given our needs). MM isn't always right. :p

Show me where I said he was right? I was disputing Latavious really even being on our radar at this point. Also, Rivals.com isn't always accurate, either (especially outside the top 100).

From what I've heard Hopson had a falling out w/ Ky. over a cancelled visit. Billy G. was at the All A but my guess was to mend broken bridges.

He's from kentucky, his top 3 schools are cincinati, l-ville and tennessee?

Has anyone heard anything?

I think he would be a great edition considering Lofton and J. Smith are leaving

well as of now he is the star recruit in UT land......i would love to get him. with our boys playin as good as they are now, that cant hurt the cause

Which guys? When they heard that Billy G. showed up to see him play 1 game they all assumed he was a UK shoe-in. That's catspause for you.
