If UT finishes the season strong, with a good win over UK at home and then wins the SEC tourny, i think they might land him over louisville.

Not to mention how well UT should do in the NCAA tourny.

i'd like to see Bruce land him.

If it's not rocking something is terribly wrong. Hopefully UT will still be numero uno, and they will be seeking revenge against a rival who beat them.

I'll be there, and i'm hoping for a great atmosphere. UT needs to land this kid.

someone had the good idea of painting their chest, along with 5 other people to get SCOTTY. you guys should get that going.

Actually, I'm pretty sure using any signs to try and woo players is against NCAA rules. I remember seeing a story about Terrelle Pryor taking a tip to a Michigan game. A student had a huge sign saying something like "Terelle is our number one Pryor-ity." Clever, but it was only shown for about 2 seconds before security confiscated it. If you guys paint your chests, I can only think you'll get away with it for a minute or two.

Yeah, maybe I'll have to wear a shirt over it and pull a quick flash if we can get his attention. They can't do anything if we start a chant. I remember hearing OSU did that for Oden and Conley at a football game a couple years back

thats not against ncaa rules. if some random person decides to do that then its ok. who are they gonna punish for a sign like that. ok. go put UT on probation for some random fan having a sign that says come to UT.

The only punishment that will be doled out will be the signs taken away or, if chests are painted, shirts will be put on. I can't find the story about Pryor, but I know what I read.

A chant is a good back-up plan. They can't regulate that, and I have to imagine getting the whole crowd into it would look pretty awsome to a visitor.

Not really. UHA won their opener in the district tourney tonight against Hoptown after trailing by as many as 11 in the second half. Hopson scored 31 of his 35 after halftime. That assures them a spot in the regional, as both the district winner and runner-up advance.

I'm not sure that source is that reliable. Gillispie's presence at the final home game would suggest otherwise (so much for not going after a committed player, heh...) and I had a conversation with someone involved with the UHA athletic program today who told me that Scotty isn't saying anything to anyone about the recruitment process.

On an interesting side note, I did learn that the AAU coach so derided in this thread snuck into the last home game through a back door so that he didn't have to pay the $5 admission. He spent the second half sitting with and talking to Stansbury. Stansbury also brought his family to the game--his son was wearing a MSU jersey with Scotty's number on it.

we will get a chant going fo sure...not so much on painting chests.

Is it confirmed he'll be here? I have my doubts since his coach and mother are handling all of the recruiting so he can remain completely focused on the playoffs.

UT 60 %
UK 30 %
MSU 10 %

and actually, it's probably UT 80 percent and UK 20 percent.....but UK will probably move up a bit, but I expect that UT will remain the favorite till signing day.

He will sign in April.

from what i was told, he was suppose to be at Arky game, but was sick. So he's coming to UK game. He'll be here. bank it.

someone in the program. I'm guessing its going to be offical since he is gonna be right behind the bench. But i dont know.
